Summertime fun

Oooh... I know it isn't summer yet, but I'm longing for it. For those long, warm days, some layed back time with family and friends at the seaside... What about you? Do you love summer time? If yes, this project will surely made your day a little bit brighter and happier. :)

I made an altered seashell with a miniature of kids playing at the shore in hot summer day. I used lot of mixed media goodies and Graphic 45 "Children's hour" collection. Added my favourite Scrapiniec chipboards and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. This is a picture heavy post so grab a cup of coffee. :) I also have a video tutorial for you. Hope you will like it!

Have fun and stay safe!
Hugs,
Aleksandra

Sweet life

I have to admit... I love sweets. When I was a child, I hated chocolate. It took me years to grow fond of it... well maybe to fond now. :D So it wasn't such a big sacrifice for me to eat those delicious chocolates that were hidding in this chocolatier box so that I was able to alter it, using gorgeous Graphic 45 Caffee Parisian paper collection. I just love how this turned out. I created little mixed media chocolates in the chocolatier box. This was actually the part I enjoyed most! I was playing like a little child and it was so much fun to do it! And under the chocolatier box there is a bigger wooden box in which you can hide a present to give to somebody you love!

Hope you'll like my project. I have also a video tutorial for you to play around a bit for yourself.

Have a great day my friends!
Hugs,
Aleksandra

When spring awakes

Hello dear friends!

I'm with you today again with my new spring project for you, this time with my post for WIld Orchid Crafts DT, to get you inspired and to get your crafting mojo on. :)

I have to tell you I can not wait for the spring to come. I so much enjoy the warmth of the first spring sunshine, the smell and colorful play of the blossoming flowers, the joyous singing of birds, the nature bursting and awakening in all her glory. Are you the same? This off the page project - box with a blossoming birdcage, took me on the springtime walk for a moment. I enjoyed it so much and I hope you will too.

I've also prepared a youtube tutorial for those of you who would like to make this by yourself with all the links to the products used.

I used several Wild Orchid Crafts gorgeous flowers for this box. You can get yours and much more at the Wild Orchid Crafts webshop. Here are the links to the ones I used today:

Thank you so much for joining me today and have a great and warm rest of the day!
Hugs,
Aleksandra

Secret garden in spring

Walking in the garden, smelling the fragrant blossoms, hearing the birds sing their songs - secret garden full of breathtaking, beautiful nature's creations. Can't wait for this time of the year to come. So I created one of my favourite off the page projects - mini treasure box, which hides the magical secret garden. Graphic 45 "Secret Garden collection" was just perfect for it. All those beautiful images really capture the spirit I wanted to created. Adding some gentle Scrapiniec chipboards and some gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts blossoms, they make a perfect match.

I invite you to take a walk through my little garden and fill up your spirit.
Have a great day!

Hugs,
Aleksandra

Fairyland under the waterfall

Hi guys, today I'm back with another mixed media off the page project. I've created a fairyland under the waterfall floating cup with gorgeous Graphic 45 "Once upon a springtime" collection. I've added some gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboards and some lovely Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. Fairies are rowing on the water under the breathtaking waterfall and as it suits the fairyland they are surrounded with blossoms everywhere. I just love how this turned out and I hope you'll like it too! :)

There is also a video tutorial at the end of the post, so that you can see how it was made.

Have fun and enjoy the day!
Hugs,
Aleksandra
