Earth Day

Yesterday was Earth Day. So for Wednesday Stamper I used some bits and pieces left over from other projects to make this card. The background was made with a faux batik technique. First stamp with versamark and then emboss image with clear embossing powder. Then with distress inks ink the entire image. You then iron the image with a piece of paper on top. The embossing melts onto the paper leaving a batik look. The stamps in this card are Paula Best, All Night Media, Kodomo Stamper's Anonymous and some chops from a book on chops.

Face

The theme from Theme Thursday is famous faces. Here is one by Leonardo DaVinci. The stamp is by Lost Coast. The background stamps are Invoke. I used Distress Inks by Ranger.

Mermaid ATC

This is a mermaid ATC for Mixed Media Monday. She is painted with water colors and inked on the edges. There are five different stamps used in this ATC.

Any Ideas?

This is an accordian book I have been working on for while. The stamps are by Fancy Pants and the papers are DCWV. I just can't decide what to put in the book. Do you have any ideas?

IKEA Box

This is a box I got from IKEA. I used a bunch of papers that I have been collecting that are pink and brown. I love that combo for papers. I made this for a friend of ours daughter's graduation from High School.

Coaster Box

I have not had much time for my artwork lately. This is an older project I made using coasters. I stamped the inside and the outside of the box. The ribbon is by Martha Stewart. I believe the stamps are Rubber Cottage and Stamp Camp.

Togetherness

The theme at TMTA this week is togetherness. This is a photo of my brother and I. There were four of us but my brother David was closest in age to me. He was always my buddie. Though he would rather be playing with my other brother he alway may time for his little sister.

Polka Dot

The theme at Mixed Media this week is Polka Dot or Stripe. Here is my Polka Dot entry. I made the dots with a pencil eraser. Stamps are Stamper's Anonymous and Inkadinkadoo.
