Just a note ...

A real quick post as the deadline for entering this card into Tuesday Morning Sketches is in a couple of hours.  Here is the sketch ...

Here is what I created ...

Stamps:  Love From Cocoa (Sweet 'n Sassy)
Paper:  Early Espresso, Whisper White (SU), Lime Green
DP:  Recollections
Ink:  Memento Black, Early Espresso (SU)
Accessories:  Copics, square and scallop dies (Spellbinders), sponge dauber, label punch (SU), ribbon (H.L.)

As you can see this card will be going to Bethany.  I thought I would hand write a little something so the paper wouldn't look so empty.

A roar of a birthday ...

I needed a masculine birthday card for my brother so I headed over to Tuesday Morning Sketches to see what they had this week.  I thought this was a great sketch to go with ...

From that I made this ...

Stamps:  Zoo Review, Plane & Simple (SU)
Paper:  White, Gray
DP:  Bolds Basics (Recollections)
Ink:  Memento Black
Accessories:  circle dies (Spellbinders), Copics, word window punch, bitty banners die (SU), pop dots, eyelets, twine

I did leave out the scallop circle ... thought that might be a little much for my brother.  I added a bit of hardware and twine to give some depth.  This was a fast card to put together.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,
Pam~

Oops, I've lost some pictures on my blog by cleaning out my Picasa Album, which is getting syned with my phone and I HATE that! If I can find them again, I will repost them.  The blogging world and me = ugh!  I'm seriously thinking about only using Splitcoast and letting go of the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,
Pam~

Going green ...

I've been busy making some St. Patrick's Day cards.  I don't really decorate for the day but always have enjoyed making St. Patty Day cards.  The first card was made for Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This was my first time to play with this challenge.  I will definitely be checking them out again.  Loved this simple and classy layout.

Stamps:  Lucky Me (SU), Flourish (Inkadinkado)
Paper:  White, Black (SU)
DP:  unknown...bought at Sam's
Ink:  Memento Black
Accessories:  ribbon (Michaels), heart punch, rhinestone, dimensionals (SU), Bic markers, oval dies (Spellbinders)

The second card I'm posting was for a class that I taught at Michaels. I actually made this at home first and then brought it in for the customers to see as a sample.  I went to Freshly Made Sketches (#59)  and thought the layout was perfect for this stamp set.

Accessories:  colored pencils (Lowe), polka dot embossing folder (CB), scalloped and square die (Spellbinders), heart punch, rhinestone, dimensionals (SU), ribbon (Michaels)

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...
Have a great day,
