Monotone mouse!

Good Grief! It's Thursday already, where is this half term going to?? Still Thursday means it's time for another challenge over at C.R.A.F.T.!! This weeks theme is :

MONOTONE
We are being sponsored this week by Robin's Fetish who are offering a fab prize of either 5 digis or 4 digis plus a paper to our winner. Click on the piccy below to see the fab range of digis!
I have used 'Happy Harry' and some papers from the Coney Island Summer collection to make a joy fold card. I love these, especially for male cards as they are interesting without being fussy!

I had to really hunt through my stash to find a suitable closure....note to self think about these things before starting card!! - but I think this Dress it up button is very appropriate!

The inside of the card is stamped with a sentiment from a recent purchase, the Inkadinkado Friendly advice set.

I'd also like to enter Harry into the following challenges:

Whoopsi Daisy - let's paper piece (I've paper pieced his shirt and trousers)

Cards for men - Anything goes (as long as it's male)

Creative card Crew - Punch it (used nesties)

Fab N Funky - Keeping it clean and simple

Paper Pretties - Being square

Thanks for looking !!

Boo!! Morning folks, it's time for another challenge over at C.R.A.F.T.
and this time our theme is:
SPOOKY!!
My mojo was a bit adrift this week and I couldn't get very inspired about making a card, I don't really send Halloween cards, so I thought I'd try stamping on a candle instead. I bought some candles last year to make some Christmas decorations but ran out of time. Anyway I found the candles again & this is my first attempt at decorating one. I really enjoyed doing this, it made a nice change and it's great fun!! I used this fun digi called Witch Bear from Lexi's fairydust store which you can find here.
Don't forget to head on over to C.R.A.F.T. to see the other fantastic DT projects and enter your spoooooky creations to be in with a chance of winnning a fantastic £10 voucher from our sponsor (one of my favourite shops!!) :

Pirate Scruffles

Ahoy there!! We have a new challenge over at Lexi's Creations, we are celebrating our first birthday, so we have a nice easy theme for you this time:
'Happy Birthday'
The DT are looking forward to visiting lots of blogs this week!!

FairyDust Crafts is sponsoring the challenge and we will have THREE randomly selected winners.

First Prize: 2 Fairy Dust Rubber Stamps to the winner (Lexi's Creation's images)….The stamps are called Fairy Dust stamps in the store

2nd Prize: 3 Digi's

3rd Prize: 2 Digi's From Fairy Dust Crafts

For my card I have used Pirate Scruffles & treasure chest from Fairy Dust Crafts, coloured with promarkers and glitter pens. The skull & crossbones paper is a digital one from The Creative Cottage , the burgundy one is from The Paper Mill shop and the parchment effect one is from my stash. I wanted to get a kind of tatty flag effect on the front of the card so I tore the skull paper and inked the edges, the burgundy on has been scrunched up and inked and the edges of the image have been distressed with a distressing tool and inked too. I'm not normally one for distressing papers but actually once I got into this it was good fun!! The charms were from my stash and Ewe2cancraft.

Inside the card:

Close up of the treasure me hearties, although the camera hasn't picked up the glitter pen too well :-(

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Keep it simple: Charming

Paper Cutz: Anything Goes

Just Inspirational: Ink or digi stamp, anything goes

The Crafty Pad: Distressed / Torn edges

Paper Sundaes : For someone little &

Pear Tree Designs : Free for all

Thanks for looking and don't forget to come & help us celebrate at Lexi's Creations!!

We also have a new sponsor - Sam Doodles (click on the piccy to visit them):

So without further ado, here's my card:

I've had this LOTV stamp in my stash for a couple of months but this is the first time she has been inked up and coloured - shameful I know!

As usual, I have used promarkers for colouring in the image and also a little yellow stickles to add a bit of twinkle to the candles. The papers are a combination of Henbury Lane, Forever friends Pink Parfait and Dovecraft Back to Basics. The lacey edges were made using a Martha Stewart punch and the flowers & little metal flower charm are from my stash.

Ice skating bear

Happy Sunday everyone!! It's time for another challenge over at OSAAT and this time it is rather special as we are welcoming a fantastic new designer called Rick St. Dennis. You can read all about him on the challenge blog. I was lucky enough to be able to use one of his fantastic images - just perfect for me as they are teddy bears. Look at this cutie

I have coloured the image with promarkers and made a mini pizza box style gift box using the instructions from Splitcoast stampers . I decided to go with traditional xmas colours and a few gold peel offs around the top edge. The sides have gold and green ribbon wrapped around them.
Don't forget to head over to OSAAT and check out the other images the rest of the DT used and then go crazy with your digi stamps and papers and enter this weeks challenge for the chance to win a very exclusive prize.

We have a fab prize from our sponsor:

The design team got to play with some lovely images, I've used Party Cat - isn't he fun!! I've coloured him with promarkers and made an octagonal aperture card - try saying that several times quickly - lol!!

Halloween Treats!

Morning folks, I know Monday again, where did the weekend go to??? Anyway here's something to cheer you up at the beginning of the week - it's time for another fantastic challenge over at Lexi's Creations. This week we have a Halloween theme (very popular at the moment, lol!!) and a fab sponsor - Joanna Sheen.
I have to admit that I don't usually make Halloween projects and I couldn't really think who I would send a Halloween card to, so I decided to make a cute little goodie box to hold some Halloween treats. I followed the instructions for the acetate box over at Splitcoast stampers, changing the size slightly. I decorated the front of the box using Lexi's fab new Vampire Bear digi, you can find him here. The black paper ribbon is by Paper Cellar and the top ribbon is from my stash. I'm really quite pleased with the way this came out and I think I will be making more of these boxes.
Another good thing about this project is that a few of the sweets might have got eaten while I was working!! Don't forget to head over to Lexi's, check out the rest of the fab projects by the DT and upload your own Halloween treats to be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize!
Thanks for looking

Spooky Halloween at O.S.A.A.T !!

Sorry folks, this post is a bit late, I thought Mr Blogger had it sorted but it seems he had other plans....

Anyway, it is Sunday so time for another challenge over at O.S.A.A.T and this weeks theme is:

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN - ANYTHING GOES

The design team are showcasing the fab digis that are available in Stitchys shop. I got to play with this fab Happy pumpkin design by Hope Jacare. It's gorgeous and so detailed!

I decided to go large on this project!! It's not a giant card, it is a sign to put up at Halloween so the local kids know that it is OK to knock (It's a bit of a local tradition around here!!) . The image is coloured with promarkers and I raided my stash and found these letters by Tim Holtz and some stickers by Karen Foster. The orange ribbon is from my local craft shop.

So dash on over to OSAAT to check out the rest of the DT creations and then enter your own halloween project! We have 4 exciting sponsors this week too!!

I'd also like to enter this into a challenge:

Crazy for challenges: colour combo

Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
