Cookie time

It had been quite a long time since we buy any commercial treats. Thanks to the new oven. Me, Chef Pacco had started my own chicken liver biscuit recipe and it had gone through clinical trial and sampling by my brother, Leslie. So far, he is not sick yet, so I assume is safe for consumption.
Yummy treats ready to enter the oven
As you can see, even before it was bake, I'm licking my muzzle and can't wait for it to get cook. Or maybe we can just eat it raw. It should taste good as well. After a gazillion years of waiting. Finally, is ready to be eaten. Tada!

D' bedding dilemma

I've been trying to train little Leslie to follow my house rules. First of all, is that the bedding belongs to me and he shouldn't have contaminated it with his yucky drools.

But it seems like he still don't understand simply dog language. I had a hard time communicating with him. In the end, he claimed my bedding.

Pacco : I give up.

What do you suggest I can do to kick his butt off the bed? Maybe put some ants to bite his ass or something else.

Leslie : I win!

Leslie, my new brother

Hey, is me again. Is been a long time since I'm here. My owner was previously busy with her new job, but things had settle down and she even adopted a new puppy. He is now 8 months old, but of course, he looks much cuter back when he first came to our home.

Leslie boy
He used to look so adorable and I felt like giving him a good bite. He was born at Cameron Highlands and abandoned by his mum. Thus, Mr. Old Daddy decided to take him back to annoy me. Now there is another mouth to feed on my limited food supply.
Pacco checking out the new pup
I decided that he need to learn some discipline and I take it under my responsibility to provide him with daily lesson. The pup shall not eat my treats, the pup shall not sleep on my bedding, the pup shall not poop on my lawn.
Don't you dare cheat by hiding under the car
In the next post, I shall share with my pals on his grown up photos that is totally un-adorable. Now I shall pay a visit to catch up on my pals.

PaccoMobile 2009

TA DA! My PaccoMobile is finally here. I know I've been talking about it since 4 years ago, but is finally here. I'm not hallucinating. You might have wonder why it isn't red, since it is my favourite color. But there aren't red available. Can you imagine that? Anyway, we're cool with black. It suits me just right, that I can even camouflage in within. I'm sure you can't really see me in the picture above.

Let me give you a close up shot of me.

Now with my own transportation, I will back in training with my pals. I miss them so much. Hopefully they miss me too. This definately guarantee more adventures ahead.

Ms. Owner feels like she had grown a new pair of wings. Let us get a little cliche by singing 'I believe I can fly'.

Convo nite

5 September 2009

It was the long awaited convo night. As Mrs Mum used to say, before the convo, you still feel like a student. I wish I was there to witness the ceremony. Ms Owner told me that the Monash Chancellor looks like a cleanly shaven Dr House.

We haven't got hold of the stage photo yet. But probably the family will take a formal family shot in studio soon. And I was schedule to be there with my red bow tie. Are you anticipating to have a look at me?

p/s: Oh yeah, did u guys notice Mr. Ironman there in the middle of the sunflower? I so pissed off that he manage to hide himself there and I don't.

Musical Sense

In case you might be wondering what's keeping my owner so busy these days. She's being too pre-occupied with her beginner piano lesson that she signed up last month and last week she bought herself a RM340 violin, hoping to start the lesson soon. All her time was used to practise and the house is getting noisier with Ms Sister learning the guitar. I wonder why they suddenly get hooked up with music. Partially, they think now is the time to end jealousy and feeling envy of their friends who knows how to play since they were in primary school.
As they said, is never to late too learn musical instrument, although she's already 24 and her tutor seems much younger than her. Old dog can learn new tricks too!

Potluck Pawty

On the 28th December last month, Pet-n-You organized a potluck party at the training ground. With the mentioned of 'food', that's enough to make both of us drool, but due to her unrecovered sickness, she's not in the mood to eat much.

The cakes by Brandy looks totaly awesome and too pretty to be eaten.

This is my new pal, Happy who has a pair of unique ears.

Mr Kimi bought me a new bowl for Christmas, which increased my appetite tremendously. This is my prettiest dog bowl ever, because I only have cheap plastic ones.

Ms Owner will be shifting to a new office on the 15th January, so she had yet to decorate her table. Hopefully we will be able to show some photos of the newly decorated office.

Pacco de Tortoise Daycare

Since Mr Kay is pretty lonely being alone for the past 3 years, we think is time to buy him some company. Last Sunday, Ms Owner brought another 2 baby tortoise from the local aquarium.

One was named Kyle and another XY, as persisted by Ms Sister. Now I'm being assigned the duty to teach them some basic house rules.

They have daily swimming lesson at 9pm, coached by me. As you can see, even Kyle and XY are pretty good swimmers under my guidance.

I'm sure they will all grow healthy and strong under my care. Pacco de Tortoise Daycare!

Christmas Tree is ready

My Christmas tree is up! We did not acquired any professional help, therefore it looks kinda... funny. But the main point is those lights. With those colorful lights dancing around, it blinds your judgement and we all thinks it looks great.

Ms Sister got a job at Fitness First as a Membership Consultant while waiting for her A-Level result. Her job is to recruit as many member as possible for the fitness centre. She's having a hard time memorizing her script and she confess that is even harder than chemistry. The best part is she could get access to all the gym equipment and aerobic, yoga, bodycombat class and etc, all for free! I wonder do family member, as in me, can acquire a VIP tix.

Holiday Mood

Is 2 weeks away from January, the day she will start her job. To avoid being extremely bored, she did some networking today. She paid a visit to the lawyer firm that she used to work at KL 4 years ago. Only 3 of her former colleagues remain, Ms Tay, Joey and Suet Ling, while the rest had quit and been replaced. She treated them a lunch at Pizza Hut, ordering her favourite Island Supreme and Hawaii Chicken, and bought a Polo tie as Christmas gift for her ex-boss. Who knows she might need some legal advise in the future.

~ I'm hallucinating myself maneuvering a magic carpet ~

It had been a long time since I went for an outing. So last Saturday, I went to jungle trekking with Champ and then breakfast with Yen Yen. Bump into Mr. Raja and we exchange greeting. Training session on Sunday was fabulous, I did a few round of zoomie and it felt great. Mr. Kimi told me he brought back 11 bags of dog food from the previous trial, which made me totally jealous. Anyway, I ought to negotiate with Ms Owner. Since she's working, she should be buying me food, and I mean having steak for dinner.

~ Abort magic carpet because my zoomie is even speedier ~

Have I told you she's an avid reader? She only read fiction, mostly sci-fi, crime and thriller. Never philosophy or anything that will enhance your morale. She loves it when the author actually did a thorough background research on the subject, regarding the historical (war or architecture), geographical location, technology, fire arm and etc. So even she's wasting her time indulging in fiction, atleast she did gain some basic knowledge from it. Like in a corporate thriller, how a geek can trace emails, hack into computers, worm their way through coded password, track complicated movements of cash overseas. Currently her favourite author is Jeffery Deaver. His Lincoln Rhyme series (Book 1 - 8) is about a quadriplegic crime scene investigator.

Overtime, she tends to forget, which book she had actually read 2 years ago. Thus, she came up with a complete reading list and synopsis of each book she had read. When she suspected the book is from a series, she needs to do an online research to track down the right sequence, because most of the time, they will not state it on the book itself. When she came across interesting title from Amazon.com, she will search through the public library search engine before attempting a purchased. When she wanted to purchase, she will check with the bargain bookshop at Amcorp Mall before going to the bookstore chain. More than a few occasion, she found out that she had bought the book at a more expensive price. The most extreme was Harry Potter Book 7. She bought it during the world wide release day at the price of RM99, and now the bargain bookshop is selling at RM39! That was enough to send her banging the wall.

Bond, James Bond

Ms Camilia Nugget had a new addition to the family, a baby boy name Nicolas. 2 weeks ago, they celebrated with some red eggs and really cute cupcakes made by Ms Brandy. How come Brandy's Ms Owner can come up with this kind of delicious yet beautiful piece of art? While my owner can only come up with something that only I will eat, because I'm afterall a species who don't complain.

Last month, Quantum of Solace was getting an overwhelmed of publicity. She got her photo taken at the Sony Ericson booth along with the cardboard Bond and got a free Bond sunscreen and a Bond Touch 'n Go card too. The best of all is the whole collection of previous BondMobile from Shell petrol presented to Ms Owner by honourable Mr. Kimi. Obviously, we're gonna own him a splendid dinner.

And a Bond popcorn box!

Breakthrough for Ms Sis

It had been common knowledge that in the household, only Ms Owner and me brought home trophies for display. Nothing significant, just some school sports, SPM's distinction plaque and some medal's from those exhaustive run. Is also a common joke that the parents like to say to the siblings, 'Even Pacco got herself some achievement'.

~ I did contribute to the family, although there is a high failing rate ~

Last month, Ms Sister received the Top In The World Award for AS Mathematics, which was awarded by Cambridge International Examination Director, Guy Lane and Deputy Minister of Education of Malaysia.

Obviously, she's over the moon. According to what I heard, she could die with no regret since she had finally received her first award in life! Congratulation, Ms Sister, the entire family is so proud of you.

So next is Mr. Naked Brother. When are you making your first breakthrough?

Pacco Antics

~ Shhhh..... Don't let 'em know I'm here, okay? ~

Moody me wish to go for a stroll at the park. We had not been going out lately, my bone is getting rusty. Let me pick that ideal collar to suit the fine weather.

Ms Owner seems like having another exam war. Notes flying everywhere. She's been trying to cramp all the information regarding the companies for her up coming interviews. And if she can teleport herself from one place to another, she can avoid rescheduling, which made her looks less-than-sincere. Her senior told her that he undergone 14 interviews, 4 aptitudes test and 3 presentations to find his dream job. Thanks for that news, it made her feeling even more depressing than she already is.

Quater-life Crisis

Facing quater-life crisis and financial crisis at the same time is too overwhelming. While, she's busy preparing her resume, she realized that her CV is not that impressive. With just a degree to show, it looks so plain. Hmm... What's the next step? She wonder.

"Earning some money and paid off the debts, ofcoz!" I shouted. She stared at me and start conjuring up a picture of me working my part to contribute to her financially. Maybe I could work as a 'jogging partner' to accompany my neighbour to prevent them from being mug.

~ As long as we're a team, nothing can't be overcome ~

She can get really frustrated when her glucose level drop below the threshold. Thus, replenishing it will help acting as antidepressant. Eat and enjoy now, worry later. Couple with a movie, she's as fit as a fiddle. Okay, maybe she ought to learn financial management. Not that I wanna accused her, but she had bought 3 paperbacks in 2 weeks.

Oh yeah. Obama was elected as the new Mr. President. But judging from the worldwide reaction, it seems like he was elected as the President of the world. Don't you think so?

AWOL with Pillow Game

Sorry that I've been AWOL for almost 2 weeks without visiting any of my cyber paws. The human is in the middle of another exam war. She's experiencing migraine due to overdose of caffeine. However, with only 3 hours of sleep per day, she still manage to squeeze some time to watch the last F1 race this morning at 12.30am. She nearly burst in tears and wet her notes when Hamilton manage to get back his 5th place at the last 2 corners, thus robbed Massa from winning the championship. What a pathetic day for sitting for the toughest paper of the year with such a lousy mood.

Meanwhile, you must be wondering what I had been doing recently. I had missed my jungle trekking and also training lesson. In fact, my paws didn't touch past the front gate for more than 2 weeks. My bone is rusting and my brain is deterioting. So we found a new game to play while Ms Owner can remain immobile, which is my new 'pillow game'! It was a great way to practise the 'auto-down' for my agility table and 'go-out' for obedience, just give me some time to move the pillow 50 ft away.

By the way, Happy Halloween to everyone and we will be back in action on this Friday. Hope that Obama will be the next US President.

Mr. White, my Informant

Mr. Tennis Ball that I had saved last week get up close and personal with the invasion of butterflies. He couldn't stop getting himself into trouble, and now I had given up on rescuing him anymore.

Talk about James Bond, the family members are anxiously waiting for the release of Quantum of Solace. The poster of Mr. Craig raising AK47 looks pretty menacing. In the meantime, we indulge ourselves with Burn Notice season 1 featured at 8TV. Jeffery Donovan as an ex-spy helping out people he met in Miami with his spy skills and constructing DIY spy gadgets is such a fresh theme in TV drama, since MacGyver.

Michael Westen have Sam Axe. Pacco de Mongrel have Mr. White Mongrel, who acts as my buddy and informant. Keeping me up to date regarding the local news is his vital role. Do you know that the Siberian Husky behind me is having an affair with the golden retriever opposite my house? We can never tell. Apart from daily gossip, once a blue moon he do provide me with some big, earth-shattering secrets, like how the cats had beginning to outnumber us dogs. Thanks to so-called responsible dog owners who get most of us spayed and balls chopped off.
