A new recipe
So, we were sitting around yesterday trying to figure out what to do with pork chops. I thought we had tried everything... Until R said, why don't we fry them up and put them in gravy and serve over rice. I said what the heck, I didn't feel like cooking, so if they taste like crap, I will get to eat out anyway. But guess what... THEY WERE GREAT!!!!
So here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
6 Thin Pork chops
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 T Olive oil
2 C Water
6 T Brown Gravy mix
Rice
Instructions:
Cook Rice in Rice Cooker (Its the best). Salt & Pepper Pork Chops. Put about 2 Tablespoons Olive oil in fry pan. Fry Pork chops until done. Remove Pork Chops and pour out most of the remaining oil. Combine gravy mix & water. Pour Gravy Mix into fry pan. Stir Constantly until thickened. Put pork chops back in fry pan with gravy. Let soak until rice is done.
DELICIOUS! Hope you enjoy!

Peppery Pork
Ok, so I cut out about 85% of the ingredients of this recipe for my family's weird taste and it was still GREAT. In fact my hubby asked if this recipe could be placed in the front of our recipe book we are collecting. I will note the stuff that I skipped so you can make your own mind up as to whether you want to skip it or not too.

2 C chopped Chinese cabbage (skipped)
6 Green onions, bias-sliced into 1-inch lengths

A new Recipe
I am trying new recipes again, so I will be sharing some of the good ones with you. I got this out of the Kraft Foods magazine, Food & Family:
Saucy Stir-Fried Pork
2Cups Minute Rice (didn't have this, so we cooked regular rice)
1/4 Cup Kraft Zesty-Italian Dressing
1 Lb. Pork Tenderloins Cut into strips (I used boneless pork chops)
1 Cup Red Peppers strips

3/4 Cup diagonally sliced green onions (I used a regular onion)
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Cornstarch (skipped it)
1/2 tsp Ground Ginger (can't stand ginger, so skipped it too)
Cook Rice as directed
Heat Dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add Meat, cook and stir 2 minutes. Add peppers and peas, cook 3 minutes stirring frequently. Add onions, cook and stir 1 minute.
Mix soy sauce, cornstarch and ginger until well blended. Add to meat mixture in skillet, cook 1 minute or until sauce thickens, stirring frequently. Serve over rice.
