I'll have to be honest, I go back and fourth between hating and loving the holiday seasons (Thanksgiving & Christmas). When being with family is more like this  It gets kind of iffy at times between the hussle and bussle.  Some days I wake up feeling like Brad and Kate off of 4 Christmases.

Who doesn't have family they wish they could pretend they didn't have at times?  How many times I felt like my family was like this part of the movie, and when I really want is to feel like this part all of the movie during the whole Christmas Season.

I want to fly off to some tropical local.  Then the next minute I can't get enough time in during the season.  I love the decorating, baking and cooking.  The opportunity to be with people you love and don't get to see very often.
I have tried to jump feet first into the spirit.  I have already watched 4 Christmases,
The Christmas Card,
   and Fred Claus for inspiration.
Ok, maybe 4 Christmases wasn't insprirational but it is quite funny.

This weekend will be inventory at work, starting Thursday night.  They moved it from the day after Thanksgiving to the first weekend in Dec.  The following weekend is our Church Christmas party.  I haven't found anything to wear.  I have a gray jacket I want to wear but nothing to go with it yet. I'll find something I am sure.
I know, very boring post.  I am all out of fresh.

A Special Christmas Card!!

I must admit I am going to do this.
Pass this on to your church, co-workers, family, and friends. What do you have to lose but 44 cents, what do you have to gain ----------- more than you will ever know.
What a clever idea!

Yes, Christmas cards. This is coming early so that you can get ready to include an important address to your list.
Want to have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD this year.
As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice,

CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world..
Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.
Here's the address, just don't be rude or crude. (It's not the Christian way, you know.)

ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York, NY 10004

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 44 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a " Holiday Tree". . . It's always been called a CHRISTMAS TREE!
And pass this on to your email lists. We really want to communicate with the ACLU! They really DESERVE us!!
For those of you who aren't aware of them, the ACLU, (the American Civil Liberties Union) is the one suing the U.S. Government to take God, Christmas or anything Christian away from us. They represent the atheists and others in this war. Help put Christ back in Christmas!

The Trial

This is it (the last post) until AFTER all the Thanksgiving rush!
I start tonight on my baking.
Tomorrow night will be even crazier.
Friday I have decided to be brave and SHOP!  I think of it like this,
it can't be worse than being home with the FIL & Wicked Witch of Indiana, right?

Hope Everyone Has A Safe and Hapyy Thanksgiving!!

Happy New Year!!

Ok, I have only a few minutes!! I checked in and saw I had not blogged in several days! So long I had forgot my log in. How does that happen? Anyways, I really need to get with this. I am going to have to learn how to put multiple pics up?? Anyone who is more than willing to help me get familiar with this thingy, PLEASE I AM BEGGING YOU!!! I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. It was a little crazy here. Hubby decided last min to go to Poppy's (that is what I call his Dad). By last minute I mean Christmas Eve, Eve and we had Christmas Eve day/afternoon with Nan, and night with my Parents. Then we had to be to Bloomington by noon. LOL, you have to love husbands. See I am one of those who HAS to bring something in had, or I can't go. I feel bad. So that meant staying up half the night fixing dishes to take. Guess what happens! I spill one all over the front yard going in!! LOL.......too funny, now of course. Oh well. Then Friday when we are getting ready to leave, Hubby realizes our water pump on the car has gone out! Yeah!! Fortunately we were able to get it fixed and on the road before 5.

We had a great New Years Eve. We went to a church we have fellowship with, to hear one of our good friends, Bro. Cornelius Harper preach. He did an outstanding job!! What a way to bring in the New Year.

Well, I hope everyone is have a Blessed New Year so far. Maybe I'll find a few pics to post from Christmas.
