First let's talk about being "Tagged"
I have been tagged by the wonderful "Ms. Bride To Be Marie" over at Wishful Thinking
She is just so gracious and I heart her.
SO here is the rules of engagement:
Open your first photo folder.
Scroll to the 10th Photo.
Post the photo and the story behind it,
TAG 5 or more people!
So here is my picture to use
It is one of my favorite peeps (DH of course, can we say "hubba hubba babyyy")
This is from the last trip to Jamesport Mo.
It is an Amish Community.
We were at the quilt/wood shop we love!
It is an AWESOME place to go.
If you are in Kansas City, you should make the 1 1/2hr trip there.
My 5 to Tag:
1. Tammy @ Queen Sized Funny Bone
2. Tammy @ Time Flies
3. Becky @ In The Trenches
4. Miss Taylor @ The Adventures of Taylor Tot
5. Sarah @ An Army Wife's Life
Ok, moving on to stuff here, let's see what to update first.
I know I have been slacking in the actual "blog" dept.
I can't help it. As I was telling Kathryn earlier
I have been trying to work on the "top secret special blog" I am hopefully going to open up soon & will need everyones help to get it out there for us for lots of people to see,
plus Nan's suprise book for her 80th birthday next month, getting ready for our journey to Norway.
Not including, or excluding all the stress from work because it is our, "kick-off", "yard sale", "golf outing", "customer appreciation" time of the year.
Along with trying to do our taxes ourself this yr, keep house, do Bible studies for church and stay sane!!!
Oh and did I mention how SO OVER THE SNOW I AM???
Yes, please, let's move on to Spring please.
Last night we actually had a "Date Night" and went to Smokey Valley Truck Stop.
I know, I know, it probably doesn't sound like much of a date, but when you can get one of these
The Smokey Valley Burger is to die for and as you see they do homemade fries as well.
You just can't beat their coconut pie here.
Speaking of pie/desserts,
the "Raspberry Zinger Cake" I came up with was
YUM!!!
I will try to post pics DH took along with the recipe I came up with for it.
It's not the "prettiest" cake ever, but who cares when it takes like heaven, right?
We took Nan out to see the snow this morning, then for breakfast at Cracker Barrel.
We had a great time with her. She told us of snow days long ago, and people who are long gone.
Ok, that's enough for now.
My confession for this week, I ate wayyy too much this morning at Cracker Barrel.
