The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

I've actually been away from my computer all morning...my keyboard is probably in shock.

We did the big trip to the city for supplies, etc. We got alot of snow last night, so the roads weren't too great and it took us much longer than usual.
There are some great photos waiting for me out there, as soon as I get done here.

We're also getting our new horse today, so have been working on a seperate pen to put her in for a few days. My feet and hands are now a bit frozen, which makes for really bad typing:)

Do ya'll remember the new garden I put in this year?? The little rock garden that I dug up by hand and planted all new perennials in??
We had a replacement snow-plow guy this morning and he plowed right over it:(
Totally tore it up. I wanted to cry. I probably will when I see it without a foot of snow on top of it all:(

Oh and to top it all off, the store was out of Heineken. Uggh.
And I could use one right now too.

Oh, what a shame. BUT -- hopefully, he just scrapped around the rocks, and didn't dig into any tender roots. Right? Perhaps just a little straightening up will be needed. We put up orange stick things in the ground to mark where our yard starts because otherwise, the street plows all the snow into my wegelia (sp?) bushes. (our place is at the end of the paved street) Orange markers help!

Oh no way... I remember you showing us those beautiful pictures this spring/summer. I hope it isn't too bad.

Hope your new horsie does well in his/her house.

oh no not the garden
ugh
I put a nice decoration around my mailbox last year and the guy that plows the drive across the road screwed it up so I had to put posts with flags out there so he wouldn't do it again course we haven't had that much snow this winter
