Today's Menu

Appetizer:
Have you ever seen a ghost or an angel? Yes, a ghost for sure. I was staying at a friends, who happen to sleep in a white nightgown. I saw her get up in the middle of the night and walk down the hallway to the kitchen. I got up to follow, figuring snacks were involved, and she wasn't there. I went back down the hallway and she was asleep in her room. I had then heard that the previous owner had passed away in the house. A little creepy but kind of cool.

Soup:
What is your favorite board game? Gosh, too many. Scrabble, Taboo, Pictionary, Trivial Pursuit. Rarely get to play though, the hubs hates board games.

Salad:
What was the last movie you saw that made you cry? I've gotten more sensitive as I've gotten older, so it doesn't take much, but Steel Magnolias was on the other day. Enough said.

Main Course:
What would you do if you had 3 months off from your job? Well I don't work, but if I had 3 months away from the house I would travel and take photographs. I'd love to go to Alaska and photograph the eagles and moose. There's also a wildlife refuge in Montana that I would love to hang out for awhile and photograph. But, it's pretty costly.

Dessert :
What kind of shoes are you wearing today? Ugg Boots. Perfect shoes for here. They work inside and out, they keep my feet completely warm and they withstand water and snow. :)

Wow appetizer a little freaky. But After my granpa died I moved in here with my grandma and I swear one night she said she was going to bed and she walked down the hallway and I swore I saw him get up out of his chair and follow her down the hallway. WOW huh

I understand the whole "getting more sensitive thing" as you get older...that's how I am too.

this is great Leesa..I may have to play this one too. That ghost thing is kinda hair raizing! I love board games too..Taboo is my ultimate fave. We always play when we go visit family..SIL just bought the 90's version of Trivial Pursuit. I liked it much better than the old questions, but like the old gameboard much better thant the new version! Stacie

That ghost thing is cool...my house is just 15 years old, but, sometimes I think there might be a ghost here, because this land where my home is used to be Pomo Indian land....perhaps an Indian maiden wants her teepee spot back?

ooh, ghosts! I don't think I've ever seen one. I love board games, too. And, my hubby calls them "bored" games. I think he just doesn't like to play because I ALWAYS beat him! Maybe when I move up to Montana, we can get together & have Game Night! :)

Firm believer in ghost and angels here. I have not seen either but after my mom died, I had asked for some sign that she was okay. That night while I was sleeping, I awoke to the sound of someone saying my name. It was too soft and gentle for it to be the bear that was snoring beside me. It happened a second time and it was so soothing I just remember drifting off to sleep thinking my mom was fine. I was happy. I really do think it was an angel of sorts.

I love the board games but I am the only one in the family that likes them. They all like card gamed like uno and I love it too. We all played uno on thanksgiving and it was great fun.
