Outdoor Wednesday

Susan over at A Southern Day Dreamer is our host.
Thank you Susan.
It has been a while since I did an Outdoor Wednesday post.
But I should warn you, lots of pictures.
Here goes.
At the beginning of the month we were at a Chorale concert at a Catholic Retreat Center.
There is a wonderful organ in their chapel.
It makes for a good place to have concerts.
My hubby was part of the concert when our church choir joined
another choir and a Brass and Wind Ensemble for a performance
of a Schubert piece.
Anyway, the grounds there is gorgeous and I got pictures.
Above is a picture of all their roses.
Here is another view.
This area is a nice place to wander and reflect if given time for that during
a retreat.
Now some close ups of the many flowers there.

I love this one.

A pretty cluster.

I thought this was an interesting arrangment of the roses.

These are blossoms on a tree. Not sure what kind of tree.

Looking back towards the roses.

Now a few pictures from my yard.

The Peace Rose.
We are getting so many blooms on this rose bush this year.
Never had that many before.
Look at all the buds still coming on the Peace Rose!!

Our grapes are starting to grow.

This looks upside down.
But it is not. Just not heavy enough to go the other way yet.

This miffed Helmi had to stick her nose in here to remind
you to check her out on my craft blog.
Helmi helps me show off what we have been to lately
in the craft world.
Happy Wednesday!

Linnea--I love the rose pictures and would really love to know what kind of tree that is with the gorgeous blooms. I was so interested in the grapes. I have never seen them that "young". My grandparent used to grow muscadine, but they were always mature when I saw them. Thanks for sharing you beautiful photos. Tell Helmi I'm not crafty, but I will check it out to make her happy :)

The rose gardens are great.

I am glad your roses are having a good year. My miniatures were wonderful last year but seem to be puny this year.

I love flower photos so you rock today!

I just love all the roses. Your grapes are sure going to be plentiful this year. Be sure to watch the birds or you will not get very many.
Thanks for sharing!
