A Late Blue Monday!

Thank you to Sally at Smiling Sally for hosting Blue Monday for us.
We had been gone this weekend and got home at 2:50 am this morning.
So I am a little slow getting pictures uploaded from the camera and
doing this Blue Monday post.
I have lots of Blue today!
Ok, I know this first picture does not have any blue.
But I just had to sneak in this picture of our new great-niece.
She was born on our granddaughter's birthday.
Interestingly, Erika has the same initials has my hubby.
And her daddy and my granddaughter's daddy both have the same intials
Actually, their middle and last names are the same too!
And they now both have daughters born on June 18th.
Makes for interesting coincidences.
We stayed at my hubby's brother's house for the weekend.
The reason for the trip was to attend a high school class get together
of my hubby's high school graduating class.
They included classmates from the year before
and from the year after.
This BLUE hydrangea is growing in their backyard.
We had forgotten to bring hats and sunscreen with us,
so hubby's brother and sister-in-law loaned us both.
We liked them so much we went and bought ourselves similiar hats
on Sunday. The high school reunion gathering was on Saturday.
At the reunion get together.
BLUE tablecloths!
This is the property of one of hubby's classmates.
He has a fruit ranch there.
Also weddings were held there too.
Don't know if they still do that.

Here is hubby in his BLUE shirt with beautiful BLUE skies
picking cherries.
I just realized his pocket calendar is also BLUE.

Here is a picture of those yummy cherries against the pretty
BLUE sky.

This part of the property was used for weddings.
Loved the look of all the roses and weeping willows
and the lake behind us.
Some one offered to take this picture of us.
~~~~~~
BLUE on Father's Day!
Hubby's brother on the left is the one who lives here.
Another brother also in BLUE on the right.
This game they are playing on this gorgeous Father's Day
is called Blungo.
The brothers had a great time hanging out together.
These guys have 4 more brothers and a sister.
Our sister-in-law made dinner for the new parents.
So the guys took it over there so hubby could have a chance
to see the new baby too.
Here he is with his new great-niece.
Probably telling her, it is okay.
The proud grandpa is now holding her.
It is this grandpa's first Father's Day as a grandpa.
He now has two grandchildren, one from each son,
but both born since last Father's Day.
The other son and his wife is now expecting their second child.
So precious Erika surrounded here by grandpa, dad and two great-uncles.
The guys got back to the house and we ate a yummy meal together.
His brother and sister-in-law gave him this BLUE shirt
just for fun.
The brothers had a chance to watch the Dodgers and the Angels on TV
while we were there. They had fun doing that together too.
I will be posting more pictures of our trip tomorrow and Wednesday too.
I hope.
Happy Belated Blue Monday!
What a great family time you all had. I love BLUE hydrangea bushes. That cherry tree was loaded, wasn't it? And, that setting would be so romantic for a wedding. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.
