Oldies but Goodies!

Random project pictures--I made these forever ago and wanted to share!!! :)

The top one is my FAVORITE!!! It's so simple, too! Take a plastic test tube and fill it with Reese's Pieces. Punch out ovals and fold in half and cut to look like leaves. Attach with tag and elastic cording!

The second one is another favorite. I LOVE jewelry--this is a pin! I used punches to create it. The image is embossed in Kaleidoscope embossing powder to give it a holographic effect. Love it!

The last one is a one page no cut bag. I originally got the idea here. Gotta love Splitcoast! Happy crafting, everyone!!!

Mother's Day Gifts & Cards

Happy Mother's Day! I originally got this poem to use for teacher appreciation week, but I felt that it describes mothers (aka ALL women) to a tee! So I made one to frame for my mother and she's also getting a huge jar of M&Ms! Plus the card I made, of course! Hope you take the time to tell the women in your life that you are grateful for them!

Bunny Poop!

So....Easter is over. I hope you enjoyed the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I know that it's a few days gone, but I wanted to share this little treat that I made to give to family and friends. It's BUNNY POOP! AND, the printable's free! So, right click and save, crafters! It measures 3"x3". I hope you took the time to create some sort of Easter treat for those you love. Happy crafting!

Be Mine Workshop Projects

Sorry for the lack of posts this month (and sorry this one is SO short)--I've been distracted by other things lately. I've tried to simplify my life and not stress about things that may or may not be necessary for my and my family's well being.

ANYWAY...here are pictures of the three projects we made at my Be Mine Workshop last Saturday--quick, cute and LOVEly! :) The inside of the big card says, "You're just my 'type'!" and the inside of the little card says, "You're the apple of my eye." I hope they inspire you to make a Valentine today!!! Happy crafting!

Trick? Nope! Treats!

It's Halloween time! Time for the candy hoarding to begin! I wanted to share a little treat in a cute way with those I work with, and this is what I came up with! These sour cream containers are so quick and easy to make and they create a big wow factor when you give them away. Below are directions on how to make them with pictures borrowed from www.splitcoaststampers.com. Take some time today to make a treat for a loved one--it's fun and a great way to show you care!

Supplies

  • 4" x 6" piece of lightweight cardstock or patterned paper

  • Sticky Strip™

  • Paper Crimper

  • Embellishments

  • Candy

Step-by-Step

  1. Apply Sticky Strip™ to one of the short sides of the reverse side of the 4" x 6" piece of patterned paper.
Apply another strip from the end of the long side until half way in.
Apply the last piece in the middle of the other long side of the paper.

  2. Remove the plastic liner from the Sticky Strip™, but make sure to leave the backing on the Sticky Strip™ that is in the middle of one of the long sides.
Adhere the short ends of the paper together to form a cylinder.

  3. Press the two sides with the Sticky Strip™ exposed together.

  4. To reinforce the adhesive, slide the taped end into your paper crimper and slowly add two or three crimped lines.

  5. Fill container with a small treat.

  6. Remove the liner from the remaining Sticky Strip™, then push the sides together in the opposite direction from the other end.
When looking at the container from the top, the two ends will form a +.

  7. Crimp this edge of the container.

  8. Decorate the container.

A Boo-tiful Thing

Well, it's that time again. FALL!!! I love fall because we have awesome holidays during this season. First up is Labor Day (blessed day of no work!) then comes Columbus Day and then....HALLOWEEN! I just love Halloween! It's so much fun to have kids come to your door and see everyone's costumes. I also love snitching candy from the candy bowl. :) But I really adore the wonderful stamps that Stampin' Up! has come out with this season. The projects above are for this year's Trick-or-Treat workshop. Have a boo-tiful day, and as always, happy stamping!
