Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello, friends! Happy Thanksgiving! I am so grateful for all of you and so much more! I just LOVE this time of year! The weather is getting cooler (for which this teacher who has recess duty NEEDS), spirits are high, and the opportunities to share and give are endless! Today I have a card that I made using digital elements from Ooh La La Scraps with a thankful sentiment. This card was made for one of the staff members at the school I work at. It takes a focused team to help, and I am so thankful for all the amazing people I get to work with daily!

Ok, so technically this is two cards. One that is plain and flat (this is the one that went to the coworker--he isn't into frills, but our staff needed to thank him), and the other has some twine, Card Candi, and a key charm added for some texture and interest. This card is yet to be given, but it will be soon, I hope! The digital paper and images are from the Nearly Fall digital scrapbooking kit from Ooh La La Scraps. I created the layering and sentiment myself, and put the focal panels together using Adobe Photoshop.

I totally adore the way these turned out! The simple fall vibe really makes my heart happy right now. I hope you like them, too! I can't wait to hear your comments below--they totally make my day!

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges:

Guest Designer: Crafter's Castle

Hello, crafty friends! I am super excited to get to be a guest designer this month at the Crafter's Castle Challenge! Thank you to Janie for inviting me, and for all the DT members and their welcoming kindness! The challenge theme this month is "Anything Holiday Goes"! The sponsor for this month's challenge is OohLaLaScraps (an Etsy Shop). Please visit them to see the amazing variety of products they have! I just know that you will find the perfect item for your next digital creation!

For my project today, I've used the Nearly Fall digital scrapbook kit.

Here is what I created.

As a teacher, I like to keep thank you postcards around to give to students when they delight me with a picture or other gift. I think setting the example for giving thanks is essential in the education of children, and they love getting a handwritten thank you! Don't we all, really? And isn't Thanksgiving the perfect time to send a small thank you to someone who has helped you? I think so. ;)

I used Adobe Photoshop to create these darling postcards. They use digital papers and elements from the Nearly Fall digital scrapbook kit from OohLaLaScraps. I just LOVE the variety of products in these kits--there is SO MUCH to choose from!

To see how my project was created, please check out my video!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on my creations in the comments below! I hope you come join in the fun with us at Crafter's Castle, and don't forget to grab some goodies from OohLaLaScraps, too! Also, check out the creations the other members of this amazing DT have to share!

Until next time, HUGS and happy crafting!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi, friends, and Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the USA!  I've made a couple of digital prints that I have hanging in my home for this holiday, and I thought I would share them with you today.  Take a peek...

These use a variety of products from MHKDesigns, and I love the way they turned out!  The top print was made with papers from the Autumnal Accents paper pack and images from the Fabulously Fall digital stamp set.  The bottom print was made using papers from the same Autumnal Accents paper pack and images from the *SOON TO BE RELEASED* Fanciful Feathers digital stamp set.

Feel free to save and use these prints in your own decorating, should they appeal to you!  I'll be back another day with holiday prints, too!  Sending HUGS and wishing you all happy {digital} stamping!

Great Impressions: Abundant Blessings

Hello, friends!  It's a special Monday--I've got my weekly card using fabulous stamps from the Great Impressions store, and it's one for our current sponsorship!  We're sponsoring The Shabby Tea Room, and the inspiration is just beautiful!  The theme is "Thankful" and there is an awesome photo for your to be inspired by, too!  Check it out...

Isn't that just fabulously FALL?!  I love the neutral colors, the pine cones, the texture...all of it!  Take a peek at what I was inspired to create...

I stamped G22 Pine Cone Bough on the top and bottom of a piece of kraft cardstock to create a frame for my sentiment.  I then colored in the berries with gold Wink of Stella pen and then colored over that with a Sakura glitter gel pen.  The shine is SO pretty!

Going along with the photo and the "Thankful" theme, I added C384 Abundant Blessings to the card.  I stamped it onto some textured cream cardstock, then added some brown, felt, stitched ribbon to the side.

I really love these neutral tones and fun textures together!  I hope you like my card, too.  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
