APPLIQUE

The team Applique is French (oui!) and means "to apply," which is basically what you do-

you apply bits of fabric to the top of other fabric.

         Unlike patchwork, where the pieces are cut and stitched together, applique is made of layering pieces one upon the other on a base or background fabric. The layers are stitched in place by hand.

SU PO PO PART 5 is one of the Jial Liu  Hui that i jointed . It was applique by hand.

Oosh, Finally Completed it . It took me few days to think of what to add on it.

The Su Po Po is preparing a breakfast. 

                           I added a stove on the picture.

                           
                          Applique is very interesting. Colour match and added your imagination is a fun.

Emma Cotton Talk Jial Liu Hui Home work Grandma Su - Part 2

Had a bit changes for this time on Grandma Su dress. Sew a blue dress for her.

Bought this two fabric cos of  my Like on colours and the print. 

But do not know what to do with it and kept it in the cupboard 4 years.

Now took it out and applique  a dress for Grandma Su. 

After applique on it , i realize  the fabric print look like a China vase. Hehe....

Don" t you think so? Hehe.........
