Hike to Natural Bridge

 We took Maesyn to Natural Bride for a hike and lets just say she loves the camelbac and was very hydrated.

We also saw this bat!

The awesome life of a 1 year old

 Here is Maesyn again, with a pencil....and a bra. 

 I am kinda lazy so I just have Maesyn feed herself, we just have her eat in the nude and then hose her down.  She has been working on developing her fine motor skills and is very independent!

Maesyn has very importaint things to do...with a fruit loop behind her ear!

 Maesyn likes to walk around with a pencil and paper.  She is very important.  She does not mind carrying around food behind her ear either.

There is so much you need to do when you are 1.

 This is an important thing that must get done...on a very regular basis!

Maesyn Turns ONE!!!

 Maesyn turns 1 and we have a little party at our house!

 We invite our friends the Palmers from around the corner.

 We have burgers and Grandpa works the grill.

 Maesyn is an impressive eater!

 She did not really dive into her cake like we expected.

 It took some persuading.

 But she eventually got chocolate all over me!

 Derrick and Summer are here.  Derrick is living with - and has been the entire year!
