Mrs. Star - Whitney Dickman

Here's a pboto from the Star Chamber luncheon, that I was invited to attend. It was so great to tell the members about the Mrs. Idaho Organization.

Tonight I dropped off some cereal (40 boxes worth!! wowza!) to the Star food bank and took a tour with Director Connie and her grandson Jacob. Such a neat organization!

Mrs. Star - Whitney Dickman

Here is a photo from a home visit this evening with my friend Paulo and his family. I met Paulo at the Miss Amazing Pageant and promised him I'd bring him a photo.  Also pictures from Bingo night.

Mrs. Meridian - Tegan Brown
Mrs. Capital City - Heather Quisel
Mrs. Garden City - Virginia Treat
Mrs. Twin Falls - Amanda Dastrup
Mrs. Snake River - Mandi Stephenson

The event at Westy's Garden Lanes raised awareness, support, and funds for the Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) program. CCI is the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs for people with disabilities other than blindness. We had a great time supporting an AMAZING program.

Sunday is a Canine Companion that works in the court system helping little kids when they have to testify. Sunday helped us through our court process and to see the difference she made for my sweet little Madison was amazing. I got a little teary eyed when I saw her again today. She was with my family on one of the hardest days of our lives.

Mrs. Garden City - Virginia Treat bowled the highest game with 200!  She was rewarded for her bowling skills!

Mrs. Idaho, Mrs. Bannock County, Mrs. Star, Mrs. Ada County - Miss Amazing Pageant

I had the opportunity to be apart of the Idaho Miss Amazing pageant. It was an incredible experience to meet and watch 22 beautiful girls with disabilities shine like super stars in interview and on stage! We laughed, we cried and we had a great time.

Jennifer Claassen (red dress) is the director of the Miss Amazing Pageant.  She put on an amazing program for these girls and we are so excited to have such an incredible woman running for Mrs. Idaho.   Jennifer Claassen in now Mrs. City of Trees!

KTVB's Maggie O'Mara was the host for the evening.

Mrs. Meridian - Tegan Brown, Mrs. Star - Whitney Dickman & Mrs. Bannock County - Kimberly Paige

Santa's Toy Box is a project where donated items are put into a store and parents of hospitalized kids get to come pick out toys for all of their kids to be delivered to their hospital room on Christmas morning. This program helps release those financial burdens and stress that comes with the holidays to those families already facing hard times. Tegan Brown, Mrs. Meridian, Whitney Dickman, Mrs. Star, and Kimberly Paige, Mrs. Bannock County, helped with the wrapping of presents for all the families. We were able to have fun while helping a wonderful cause.
