Today!
Well yes. Once again I implore that you ignore the fact that it is already past 12 am and thus technically I should be blogging about 'yesterday' instead of 'today'. But who gives a damn??!!!
Went to watch Bridget Jones Diary II: The Edge of Reason aand as expected my thoughts have now commenced playing in a British accent in my head. I am also prone to acquiring British accents mid-sentence. So beware if you don't want to be annoyed by me. Hahaha. Anyway it was marvellous except I think maybe the first one was better. I can't really decide cos:
- This one's got a lot more kissing and sex.
- The first one (henceforth referred to as 'That one'. OK stop thinking dirty.) was a bit funnier, I believe. But then again that could be because I sorta know the funny parts for this one already as have seen on adverts.
- I read in a movie review online that this one is just a repeat of that one only that they took out the "best" parts and repeated them in a different way. That's true.
- This one is rather disorganised in terms of plot. Jumping here and there.
- All of the leads look better somehow in this one.
Oh well. The bottomline is that it IS great. Hahaha...so...go catch it at your nearest (or most convenient. or favourite) cinema! =D
After watching the movie, Sarah, Sonia and I walked aimlessly about in Far East, Wisma Atria and Takashimaya (Sonia and I wanted to return library books). Eventually we ended back in Orchard MRT. Suddenly this girl approached us and Sarah almost rolled her eyes, thinking that it was another of those contribute-to-charity ticket sellers that had approached us earlier. But this one was from a modelling agency, and gave us all name cards, asking us to go for an interview if we were interested. And she took our contact numbers. I thought the person looked our age, though. Oh well. I bet she approaches everyone. Even if she chooses pple to approach, I bet she only approached us cos she saw Sarah and Sonia. And it'd look bad if she didn't give me a namecard too, so she did. It's not me she wants. Hahaha we can all be models like the rest of DMC. Hurrah. Right.
Oh and after that Sarah went home for piano-ing and Sonia and I went to Borders to kill time before her mother came to meet her. The stupid staff kept chasing us to other corners under the pretense that we were blocking the way. Of course, everyone knows that their real ploy is for us to stop browsing there and BUY their bloody books home to read. How annoying.
Then we went to Applecentre cos I needed to drop in a contest form (to win an iPod Mini). The box containing the contest forms only had, like, ten contest forms. Hahaha so Sonia looked at me and said "You might win.". LOL. Maybe they clear the box everyday. Or maybe everyone else haven't dropped their forms cos the closing date is 31 Dec.
Met quite a few friends yesterday. When I got off the bus to take the MRT at Toa Payoh Interchange, I saw my junior Belinda at the bus stop. Haha....haven't seen her since o level results were out. And guess what she had to say to me after not seeing me for so long. "Ni fei le!" (You've grown fatter!). Hahaa I was running late so all I could manage was "Really?". Then when we were in Wheelock Place, after walking out of Applecentre, I suddenly heard this deep gruff voice chanting "Maymaymaymaymay" behind me. So I turned around and there was Seamus. LOL. He was wearing an orange shirt. Doing CIP. Then when I got to my bus stop, I heard someone call my name. It was Sing Wei. We had a rather nice conversation while waiting for the bus and during the bus ride (we took the same bus). I'm glad that we haven't "drifted apart" so much that we have nothing to say to one another. And so it was meet-your-secondary-school-friends day. Hehe.
