Welcome to the first ever Smeared and Smudged Forum Member Blog Hop! This hop is all about featuring the fascinating and talented members of the Smeared and Smudged forum. We have twenty-one different member blogs for you to visit and peruse, all of which are displaying wonderful projects for your enjoyment!
If you don't know what the Smeared and Smudged forum is all about, let me tell you a little bit about it. After unsucessfully searching high and low for a stamping network where I could truly be my weird, dark, and fabulous self, I decided to create the forum. Don't get me wrong, there are alot of great forums out there, and I am a member of a few, but none where I felt really at home. My art was usually too different and dark, or not cute enough for me to feel like I fit in.
This is why the S&S Forum was "born". Now at 86 members strong, we're all about expressing ourselves through gothic, vintage, dark, alternative, and out-of-the-norm stamping, and truly being friendly and open to all types of art (including the occasional cute stuff LOL).
The thing I love most about the forum is, everyone is truly friendly and supportive!! I'm so very grateful for all of the wonderful friends I have made there, and feel absolutely blessed to have finally found other like-minded crafters!
So, if you'd like to join us, just go to the Smeared and Smudged Forum and we'd love to welcome you! Now on to the hop.
For my project I am offering another exclusive Sneak Peek at one of the upcoming Smeared Ink stamp sets. If this is your first visit to my blog, you may not know that my sister and I recently started our own stamp company called Smeared Ink. We have introduced our first four sets for preorder (which will be available in stock very soon!) and have launched our website.
My project today uses an image and saying available on the Li'l Grumpies set that will be in our next stamp release.

Rather than making a card, I decided to alter a tin that I found at the dollar store. This would make a perfect little gift for someone. The colors are cute and sweet, but the Girly Li'l Grumpy and "suck it up." saying make this lollipop tin super sassy!
I used paint and embossing powders to alter the lid, then embellished with my images, ribbon, eyelets, and crystals. To finish it off, I added bows to my lollipops.
I'd love to hear what you think about it, so feel free to leave a comment. Then hop through the other member blogs to view their awesome projects!
