We had my Mom come visit us for Christmas! It was so much fun! We did so many fun things...I am so behind on posts! I have had to do a ton of editing for different pictures I have done of others, so I haven't even had time to look at our holiday pictures. Anyway, my Mom took Sadie to see Alvin and the Chipmunks on Christmas Eve while Lucy took a nap so that Santa's elves could get some work done! They had so much fun! About the last 15 minutes of the movie, Sadie curled up on Grandma's lap and fell asleep. Since they were in NO hurry to get home, my Mom got special permission to stay sitting there and let Sadie sleep! Then they ran a few errands and went shopping a little bit. It was so nice to have that extra time!

Then another day the girls went and saw Enchanted while Chris had to go to work. It was Lucy's first movie (which is a shocker considering how much she LOVES movies!) They both LOVED it and had so much fun!

I was itching my head thats for sure, Averee looks ok but we'll see Evka's head in the morning!!!! It looks like Sadie had a good little nap, I am sure your Mom loved just sitting there!!
I'm so sorry!!! I can't even imagine but I guess this is just the beginning with the kids getting older!
Fun movie. I still haven't taken Shane to it yet and I'm so sad. We miss you guy!
Sorry about the lice...that is never a fun thing to find. Fun to see a few pictures from Christmas time...Sounds like fun...Can't wait to see more.
If it's any consolation, lice LOVE clean hair! My sister had it four times while she was in elementary school. Where I grew up, people just don't care about those kinds of things and will let their kids go to school sick or with lice and not worry about anyone else's children catching it. It was frustrating for my mom and always scared me because I had SO much hair. I was told at one point that if I had gotten lice at that age, which my hair as long as it was, that we would have had to CHOP it off, probably like I wear it now, to get all of it out. Nice. Can't wait to see your guys' Christmas photos! How did the swing set go over? Need I even ask?????
Oh man. That sounds awful. I'm so sorry you have to deal with lice. You are totally on top of it, though!
How fun to see movies at Christmas! That's one of my favorite things to do. We took the girls to Enchanted on Christmas Day and just loved it. What a great movie!

EWWW. I hate lice. I had it once when I was a kid and it sucked. I don't want to get it here. BLAH! I sucks that you have to clean so much. NO FUN!

I had the BEST time taking your girls to the movies! We had so much FUN! The girls felt so big. It was so neat taking Sadie shopping at the mall, just Gramma & Sadie. We had fun picking out gifts for Mom & Dad & even Lucy....from Sadie. She was happy to be able to surprise you. I think she did a good job in her pickings too. I loved doing that with her, and then all of us going to see Enchanted. Lucy was so little, yet IN HER ELEMENT at the movies. She did beautifully! Here's to many future FUN times like this ahead!
