Southern Virginia University aka Southern Seminary

In April we were driving through Buena Vista and I noticed this building on the hill so of course I had to get closer! This is Southern Virginia University, a private school which was built in 1890 as the Hotel Buena Vista. I found this really interesting blog post on the history of both the hotel and town of Buena Vista HERE

Couldn't find anything out on this but I like it!

It is along the Maury River and features people travelling upon a bateau.
