Hello! One of my co-workers is getting married in July and her shower is in a few weeks. The card I made for her is featured on the SRM Blog today.

I found out the colors for her wedding and used them to put the card together.

I can’t wait to tuck this card into my friend’s gift basket at her shower. I know it will bring a smile to her face :)

"Love"-ly cards with SRM

Hello! Today I have a couple of cards on the SRM blog that I made using the new Bible Margins Love Clear stamps.

These stamps are wonderful for stamping in Bible margins or for bookmarks, too. I used a masking technique to just use a portion of the stamps for my cards. I used a small sticky note to cover the part of the stamp I wasn't going to put on the card. Then I inked the stamp. After removing the sticky note, I could stamp the portion with ink onto the paper.
By using the same basic overall design for both cards, I was able to complete them rather quickly. I varied the patterned papers and width of the strips.

The Sticker Stitches are probably my #1 go-to product by SRM. I use them all the time. For these cards, the dot stitch was a perfect way to anchor the sentiment banner to the card.

Wishing you a "LOVE"-ly day! :)

Snowman layout

So glad you could drop by today :) We are wrapping up winter here--which means lots of rain and an occasional snowfall. My son is so happy to see the snow and will immediately want to go outside to build a snowman. So, I thought it would be fun to document that with our first snowfall of the season this winter.

As you can see, it took most of the snow in our yard to build the snowman! But he sure looks happy, doesn't he?

This layout is featured on the SRM blog today. You can find all the details there. Tons of inspiration--go check it out HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today! We are hoping for some more snow soon to get in some last of the season skiing. Let the snow-dancing commence!

2018 DIY Planner

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing with you my planner for 2018. It is featured on the SRM blog HERE today. I LOVE having a planner! Over the past few years I've tried several different ones--but never really found one that I could use efficiently or that matched my needs. So . . . this year I decided to make my own :)

(Front Cover)

I wanted one that was light and compact; a planner that wouldn't end up half-unused. After searching around for blank journals, I found one that I preferred with dot pages. This makes it easy for me to line things up, but not feel like I have to fill up every line.

The look of colorful, decorated planners is BEAUTIFUL--but it doesn't work for my style of what I need a functioning planner to be. Using SRM stickers and stamps is perfect for designing my own planner because of their classic style and clear backing. It would be easy to add color to any of these pages if I wanted to.

(Inside title page)

(Year at a glance)

I tried to incorporate my favorite layouts from other planners, as well as ideas of my own. I need the year at a glance and planning ahead pages for the upcoming months. Because I am only making one month at a time (so I don't have wasted pages in between months), the layout with upcoming events is really important for my planning.

As you can see I used a ton of SRM stickers to set up these pages and they turned out better than I had imagined!

For the monthly layouts, I am using the new planner season stamps. For the February layout, I used both the Winter Plans and Spring Plans sets, as well as the Notes to Self Planner stamps for the days of the week.

I love having these pages tailored to my needs and style. Happy planning! :)

Happy Birthday card

Today I am sharing a birthday card with you. It is one of my favorites that I have created this year.

It is no secret that one of my favorite characteristics of SRM stickers is their seamless look on paper. I love how they can be added anywhere and cut to fit perfectly, if needed.

You can see more details on the SRM blog post HERE.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful day! Go out and celebrate :)
