Coins Of Tipu Sultan Of India
Tipu Sultan ruled the State of Mysore from 1782 - 1799. He was killed on the 4th. of May 1799 while defending the fort of Seringapatam in the 4th. Anglo - Mysore War led by the British and Nizam of Hyderabad. Some of his coins are shown here.

The Portuguese State of India was established in 1505. Their first headquarter was in Cochin and then transfered to Goa in 1510. All their territories were surrendered to the Government of India in 1975

Coins Of East India Company In India
There are 9 East India Company coins under this topic. Once India was a large country with hundreds of princely states and some were under different foreign dominations. For the sake of administration, the company issued different coinages for different states.
1. The first 3 are coins for general usage which were used in all states. Silver rupees 1935 and 1940
2. The next 2 are coins for the Bombay Precidency
3. 2 coins after that were minted for Madras Precidency
4. 1 coin for Bengal Precidency
5. The last big coin is a temple token with certain purchasing value issued by the company dated 1616
