Hello everyone! I have a new Halloween project up today at the Miss Kate Cuttables blog that I just love. Here's a little sneak peek:
I used the print and cut feature on my Cameo to put this card together, plus some super spooky cut file sets from Miss Kate Cuttables, cardstock and pattern paper scraps, and of course, my favorite Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap.
And now, you'll have to head over to the Miss Kate Cuttables blog to see my card. Let me know what you think!
Until next time -- stay crafty,
Lissa :)

Another Sketch N Scrap Card Making Challenge
Hello everyone! I'm back today with another card challenge from Sketch N Scrap. It's World Card Making Month and Sketch N Scrap has been posting new card challenges all month-long to celebrate. So my card today is on this challenge:
Halloween or Orange: Create a Halloween card or a card using the color orange as the main color.
What a fun challenge! You already know that Halloween is my favorite holiday, so this one was a great challenge for me.
Here's the card I created:
Love it. For this card, the papers and embellishments again all come from the October 2013 monthly kit from Scraptastic Club.
I layered all the papers together with the die cut sentiment on top, then added some black glitter glue to the wood spider embellishment for a bit of sparkle.
So that's my card for this challenge. And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this challenge.
Be sure to play along with the challenges this month (and every month!) at Sketch N Scrap. Don't forget -- if you link up your creation at Sketch N Scrap, you'll be entered to win a great prize giveaway -- a new prize each month.
Until next time,
Stay crafty!

Sketch N Scrap Challenge #67
Good morning! Today, I have a new layout to share to go along with the Sketch N Scrap sketch challenge #67. This is the second sketch challenge for October -- and I just had to create another Halloween layout to celebrate my favorite holiday!
Here's the sketch:
And here is the layout I created based on the sketch:
I used the very fun Trick or Treat collection by Fancy Pants Designs -- super cute! The papers had so many awesome patterns that I just loved. I added in some enamel dots and a couple of epoxy stickers from my stash to complete the layout.
So that's my layout for this sketch -- I love Halloween! Can you tell? :) And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...

Sketch N Scrap Inspired By Sketch for October
Hello everyone! Today, I'm excited to share a new layout for Sketch N Scrap and their Inspired By sketch challenge for October. These sketches are so fun to work with because they are modeled after another designer's layout.
Here's the sketch:
And here's the layout I created based on the sketch:
You all know that I love Halloween, and this layout is no exception. I have been wanting to use these adorable Doodlebug Halloween stickers, so for this layout, I used a fun black patterned background and lots of fun pattern scraps. Then I just used the stickers to add accents around the page, using foam dots to lift some of the stickers off the page.
I love it! And now, head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see what the other talented designers created with this sketch...

Halloween Layout for Kiwi Lane Designs
I'm thrilled to be up on the Kiwi Lane blog today with a Halloween layout today (yes, in summer!). It's a send-off layout, where we were asked to create a layout with our favorite designer templates since this is our last month as part of the Kiwi Lane design team. I'm so sad about that! But also excited to see what the new team will do to inspire us.
Here's a sneak peek of my layout:
I used the fabulous Blackbird kit from Scraptastic Kit Club for this project. I absolutely love all the Halloween elements and paper in this kit.
You'll have to head over to Kiwi Lane to see the whole layout -- let me know what you think!
Until next time,
Stay crafty!

Sketch 'N Scrap Sketch #52 Layout
I'm here today to share my design team layout for Sketch #52 at Sketch 'N Scrap.
Each month, they offer two layout sketches and two card sketches. And
if you link up your creation, you'll be entered to win a great prize
package. Awesome!
I love working with the sketches from Sketch 'N Scrap -- they are so fun to create with. Here's sketch #52:
And here's my interpretation of it...
Yes, I know it's March, but I was in the mood for Halloween. (When am I not, really?) I loved the two-sided design in this sketch, so I decided to use this circle overlay from Maya Road. It's made of a plastic material that is fun and kind of shiny. I cut it into a 6" strip and then cut off another circle to add to the right-side to create some continuity. The Halloween papers and embellishments are from Bo Bunny. So cute!
Be sure to play along with the sketch challenge this month (and every month!). Don't forget -- if you link up your layout at Sketch 'N Scrap, you'll be entered to win a great prize giveaway!

Lissa :)

Inspired by Pinterest Feature for Kiwi Lane
I couldn't be more excited to share my first monthly feature project for Kiwi Lane! It's a fun Halloween project, inspired by Pinterest. You'll have to head on over to the Kiwi Lane blog today for loads of scrapbooking inspiration and to see this super cute (if I do say so myself) Halloween layout using the Pebbles' Thirty One collection from American Crafts, plus the Kiwi Lane template sets Mini Aspen Court, Halloween, and Mini Holiday.
This project was so fun to create. I love that I used up a chunk of my button stash and working with the Mini Aspen Court border templates was an awesome new way to create a great layered background. I just love Halloween - and these papers and embellishments from American Crafts were perfect for this project. Be sure to check out American Crafts on Facebook too!
Best of all, if you don't yet have the very awesome Halloween or Mini Holiday accessory template sets, here's your chance to win a set of your very own (shipped to the US only). Just enter below - I'll be picking a winner on Halloween. Good luck to you!

Kiwi Lane DT Doodles Sketch - Week 41
Hello all! I'm definitely in the Halloween mood lately (aren't we all?), and today I have a fun Halloween layout to share. I created this layout for Kiwi Lane's DT Doodles blog feature for week 41. This week features a sketch based on this layout:
I love those Large Bracket and Scallop templates, so I was excited to be able to use them again. Here's my version:
I love how it turned out! The papers and embellishments are from the American Crafts Night Fall collection. I also had a large 12x12 paper pad from Michael's Recollections brand called "Night and Fall" which had the same patterned paper. Maybe American Crafts makes some of those too? Either way, I love this line. It's a spooky and fun Halloween collection with lots of hand-drawn elements and a great color palette. And of course, I had to use American Crafts Thickers in Dolce - love that bold font.
For the Kiwi Lane templates, I used:
This was so fun to create. If you have the Kiwi Lane Brackets and Scallops, I challenge you to create a layout combining the two. You will love the results! Please share your layout here - I would love to see it. If you don't have them, what are you waiting for? Run over to the Kiwi Lane shop and pick them up today.

Halloween Decor
There's another new Halloween lantern from my mom up there, along with a few new framed photos and my twig tree (which I love!).
I also laid my Halloween rag garland on the top. I love how it turned out. I hung my Halloween wreath and put up our Halloween tree.
I think that's plenty for this year. I'll plan to pick up some new decor items when everything is on sale. Fun plans!
Have you put up your Halloween decorations? I would love to see...please share!

Halloween Porch
My favorite time of year is here -- Halloween! I love to decorate our porch with all of our Halloween goodies. This year is no different...
I love this new huge Halloween lantern -- a birthday gift from my wonderful mom. She always gets me the best birthday presents -- Halloween decor.
I mostly moved around my fall porch decor and added in pumpkins and gourds and Halloween spookiness. Love how it looks...
We will have a zombie hunter and a commando in our house this year for trick-or-treating. Plus pumpkins to carve very soon. Stay tuned for more Halloween fun...
