Another birthday has been and gone. My amazing parents gave me a new fridge. Liz and Pete (my sister and her partner) gave me this wonderful mug.
The garden continued with the beans and started producing cucumbers too. The green Lebanese cuke is utterly delicious so I will grow more of them next summer. The zukes have given up.
And we've had some beautiful sunsets:

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday Dear Mickle!
Happy Birthday to you!
Your mug is very snazzy AND you got blessed with a new fridge. That is so great. Mickle you are totally celebrated and loved. Not that gifts are what it's all about, but that your family would do such special things to honor you. that makes me smile just to know you have been blessed.
That sunset picture is amazing. It looks like a present too.
I am so glad you have fun with your garden.
Blessings to you today my friend.
Belated Happy Birthday, lovely photos and that sunset..... Hugs Diane xxx
Sounds like your birthday was a good one. I'll add my wishes for a Happy Birthday, too. Was the Taupo earthquake in honor of your b-day?
Awesome mug! And how exciting to get a new fridge.
Happy birthday!
Love your mug, my favourite colours. It can't be a good season for zukes, my sister in Auckland hasn't had many either.
Happy birthday Michelle. (albeit a tad belated)
Glorious sunset to celebrate your special day.
Happy birthday to you etc
Your birthday must be very close to mine along with Mozart, Schubert, etc etc.
I haven't tried zukes here but might give them a go next year. We do have lots of silver beet and the corn is still growing. I'm not so sure about beans because we had to move them due to a plumbing leak. (the man needed his hole :)

Dear Mary Z -much laughter, that was 6 days later. Maybe it was the land reacting to me achieving 46 years?
I have to laugh even more as I've only been resident on the North Island for 42 and a bit years, and in Wellington since age 4 exactly - my Folks became owners of their first home in Wellywood on my 4th birthday (January 22nd).
Oh my gosh, A most Happy Birthday to you, dear Mickle!! I don't think that mug was 'off the rack', did your sis have it specially made? And now there's a new fridge to house the garden bounty, which continues on in grand form. Your summer photos look so warm, green and beautiful...I'm looking forward to the end of our weird, freezing weather; enough white stuff is enough! And, YES, my birthday is coming up (your memory is shocking!), February 16.
Have a wonderful week, give Zebby a good rub under the chin,
love and huggles,
Elizabeth
A belated Happy Birthday!
The mug is lovely and your veg is always crisp and fresh and looks delicious.
The sunset is a marvellous piece of artistry.
