Sunday, September 21, 2008A Freebie, and 4 new kits.
Monday, September 15, 2008I'm terrible, aren't I? I just go AWOL without warning, and then you guys all feel like spanking me, don't you? (hmmm, on second thought, maybe I just do it for the spankings, what do you think?)
Aaaanyway, I debuted at SBG on September the 1st, and I've been having a blast! It's been such a wonderful experience, I'm thrilled to have my Studio open! Plus Megs is there to hold my hand, which has been a major help!
And I kicked it off in the best possible way, with 3 (yes, THREE) spanking new collabs!
The first one with Megs (none other than the flergs, as my husband would say) is called Squeeee!:
I went a tad overboard on this one, and made 7 additional alphas, available individually or as an 8 alpha pack:
Then I teamed up with my friend Nicole, of the Sugarplum Paperie, and thought people might enjoy a glass of Chilled Wine:
Finally, my friend Franziska Altmann and I got together to bring you some cardboard-y goodness in the form of Free Spirit:
BUT, that's not all! After all of these collabs, I went out and made a kit of my own, brand new - Kiss and Tell, debuting today at SBG:
and then I just had to go and make a matching Kiss and Tell freebie for you guys:
And, because it's been so long since I've blog, here's a coupon to pick up Kiss and Tell with a 20% discount:
The code is KissingGame (in case the image decides to go missing).
Whew! I really shouldn't go this long without blogging, I'm exhausted just by the sheer length of this post!

Sunday, April 27, 2008Hi everyone!
It's late, and I'm tired, but I'm sooooo happy with everything I have to show you!
I have been wanting to create a retro 70s disco kit for so long now, and always kept postponing. Then, finally, when I wasn't even trying to make it happen, it did! And thus, Full Circle was born!
Then the amazing Franziska Altmann made me this gorgeous Quick Page Album, consisting of 12 12x12" Pages @ 300 dpi.
And, for a limited time only, you can get the CD Album for free, if you purchase both the kit and the QP album.
Here are some LOs by my wonderful CT using Full Circle:
Layout by Vasco, aka Moon Scraps, aka THE Hubby
Layout by Jeannette, aka Lady_Grundlefunk
The kit is also available as separate Elements and Paper Packs
AND, if you're still not satisfied, you can get a matching freebie called Circle Line to boot!
Whew, that was a LONG post!

LOL) just follow that link and click on THEIR egg...their download will contain the link for the next blog... and so on and so on...

Love Actually - At last!
Sunday, February 17, 2008First of all, and before I give you your well-deserved freebie, I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to all the lovely comments you left me here on the blog. They made me feel so appreciated, I got a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
I ended up missing my son's party at the park, that was one of the worse days for me. Now I'm at the point where the pain is completely gone, as well as the infection, but I'm not 100% out of the woods yet, because my eardrums are still sort of glued inside. I'm under strict instructions to chew a lot of gum (!) and blow my nose often, even if it's dry, to help make my eardrums pop and, if all goes well, that will be the end of it. If all goes less than well, though, they'll have to do a kind of small surgery, or so I'm told. Here's trusting in the power of the almighty chewing gum!
On other news, I am planning on having a CT Call - probably a CT Challenge, to borrow the idea from my fried Flergs - in the near future, I just need to get a few things back on track.
Now, finally, here is Love Actually:
Enjoy your freebie!
Colour Your World Competition!
Friday, January 25, 2008Hi people!
I've been awfully silent lately, but I intend to make up for it today with a mega competition! We'll get to that in a minute but, first, let me show you my brand spanking new collection, Dreams in Colour. It will be in the store later this week, and I had a blast making it!
Each kit will be available both as separate paper and embelishment packs (as shown above) and as full kits. They will also be available in a single purchase as the Complete Collection. If you choose that, not only do you get to pay less (obviously!), but you also get this exclusive bonus, not available anywhere else:
Now for the competition: 10 people will win the "Dreams in Colour" Kit of their choice. Erm, yeah, that means if only 10 of you sign up, you're guaranteed to win, lol!
Then, there is a grand prize: one lucky person will win the entire Dreams in Colour collection, meaning all 10 Kits plus the special bonus. Remember, you can only get this bonus when you buy (or, in this case, win) the entire Collection.
What do you need to do to win these? It's quite simple, actually: I have just enabled newsletter capability on my blog. Do you see that little box on your left, the one under "Subscribe mgl Scraps"? Well, that's what you need to do to win one of the 10 DiC kits, just subscribe to the feed and then leave me a comment letting me know that you subscribed, what your favourite colour is and how it inspires you to scrap.
I have the feed set up to only mail out when I post something labelled "announcement", "competition", "freebie" or "new products", so don't worry about having my LOs delivered to your inbox!
To enter in the grand prize competition, you need to blog about it! Yup, it's as simple as that, make a post, let everyone know about your favourite colour, and then link people here to mgl Scraps, so that they can enter as well! No blog or site to post from? You can post in forums then, but only if the forum rules allow it, and only in the appropriate place. Please don't go off spamming people on my behalf, lol!
After you have linked here, you need to get the link to me, either by leaving me a comment here or by e-mailing me at jesters (DOT) tear (AT) yahoo (DOT) co (DOT) uk with your name and link.
I'll keep tabs on who is coming from where through StatCounter and, by the time the products hit the store, the person who sent the most people over here will have won the grand prize.
I shamelessly lifted the notion of the "subscribe my newsletter and blog about me" competition from the lovely Kylie Banks over at Phaunt Actions. Go pay her a visit, she has a new forum up and running, and it's just a wealth of knowledge waiting to be discovered!
