valerie came to church! XD omg i was so happy to see her. haha. it's been nearly a year since she flew off to australia and i haven't kept in contact with her at all. i'm such a horrible friend. oops. too many things happening during school and holidays. hehe.

anyway, i had a stomachache during sermon and had to go to the restroom. when i came back, pastor lynette just finished her 'magic show' and she saw me come in. so she said in front of the whole congregation 'hi dear, you just missed my magic show' and the entire congretation turned to look at me. =.= yeah sure they laughed. but omg i was EMBARRASSED TO THE MAX. after service, everyone was like 'omg mel you came to church at 10.15AM? when service was ending?!' =.= don't be stupid people. why would i go to church if service is ending? geez. thanks pastor lynette. for letting everyone know my existence now. roar. i'm sure she enjoyed doing that. *stabs pillow* lol.

lol. my mom refused to let me run since i've been feeling under the weather lately. headaches, flu, stomachache and stuff. i think it's due to the cumulative lack of sleep and appetite. lol. blame it on the exams, that's what everyone say. i wonder if it's really the exams. hmmm. anyway, i found an alternative to exercise instead of running, since my mom refused to let me go downstairs and run until i faint. XD my uncle gave me this 'twist and shape' machine thing. hohoho. it's useful. i perspire like mad. but i love it. XD yush people, MEL LOST 5KG IN A MONTH. aren't you proud of me?

3. DO NOT SNACK (i mean it. this is important)

oh man, now i sound like some health freak. =.=

anyway, exams will be over in 2 days for me. XD CM2111 on tuesday, 1PM. i'm actually slacking off already. since that module IS open book. =.= it's never a good thing to have open book exams for your last paper. you just lose all your motivation to study. haha. but it's good in a way that i'm not THAT worried for it. there ain't much to study to begin with. and his notes are nice, short and understandable. XD

therefore, i'm being a horrible slacker and watching 'galileo'. HAHAHA. and as all of you know, once mel starts watching dramas, she becomes this FREAK that just sits in front of her laptop the entire day to finish the drama. haha. i intend to finish this by tomorrow. XD yush, one day before my CM2111 paper. i rock, don't i? haha.

was watching 'my precious you' with my parents during dinner. it's a new KBS drama. the little girl called 'jiu' in the show is DAMN CUTE. omg. her brother in the show is super cute too. i wanted to take a picture of her to show you guys how cute she is. and well, when i was going to take it, she was crying. HAHA. so you guys shall see how she looks like, crying. she's still cute kay. omg, i want to kidnap her. haha.


one last thing before i end, wow i have quite a lot of things to say today, MEL IS DETERMINED TO BE A BETTER CHRISTIAN. yush. my mom made a comment that made me ponder over it for quite a while.

THE KILLER DAY IS OVER!

i've never liked having 2 papers in one day. =.= totally drains out your energy. seriously.

anyway, when i reached temasek hall this morning for CM2102 paper, everyone told me i looked pale and dying. LOL. well yeah, i haven't been sleeping properly ever since exams started. =.= i was amazed at how i could survive the entire day today without fainting during the paper.

4 papers down, 1 more to go.

what's with everyone and having babies this year? XD

benjamin korkor's wife just gave birth to a baby girl last october.
sharon jiejie just gave birth to a baby girl, evageline, 2 weeks ago.
julian korkor's super cute jap baby boy is turning 1 years old on 13th december.

OMG. i have so many nieces and nephews. i was counting and i have 12. omg i'm only 20 and i have 12 nieces and nephews, of whom 1 is OLDER than me. lol. crap, i don't want to get married already. I HAVE TO GIVE SO MANY ANGBAOS NEXT TIME. *wails*

omg super happy. i'm so glad it's my first paper. now i can burn those stupid notes and forget all about the damn principals of spectro. haha. i think i finally can sleep and eat again. i was so stressed over this module that i couldn't eat and sleep last night. the more i look at food, the more i wanted to puke. omg. stupid CM2101. ROAR.

went down to SOMA to finalize the sponsorship stuff with amanda, vee, gary and wesley. the 2 guys were pretty funny. their namecards were damn cool. they're ipod-shaped. LOL.

anyway, it was the first time i stepped into a recording studio. so naturally, i would go a little high and try and poke around. hahaha. amanda and vee were very amused. .___. yeah i decided to take a picture of the place. for memory sake. =.=

went down to my aunty's house coz sharon was there with the baby. or so we thought. when we got there, aunty nancy told us that the baby was in hospital. coz she couldn't pass urine or motion ever since she came back from the hospital. O_O omg. so anyway, i didn't see my niece. darn. i decided to take a picture of a picture. just for the fun of it. my parents, uncle and aunty just stared at me. LOL. =.=

my mom told my aunty and uncle that i was going to japan. and i said something about me going there to find a boyfriend. and suddenly the 4 adults were making a huge drama about 'how japanese men aren't exactly the best men to date' and stuff like that. O_O i had to announce really loudly 'uh do you guys HONESTLY think i'll get a japanese boyfriend?' LOL. omg they are so cute.

went to queensway to find a pair of walking shoes for my trip to japan. as expected, all the girl sizes were TOO SMALL for me. kenasai. so i had to look for the guys' ones. and their designs aren't exactly very nice. ugh. anyway i settled for a black nike shoe with a gold tick. i thought it looked kinda cool. and when i wear it, i look like i'm going to play basketball. HAHA. the shop owner was kinda ridiculously funny/lame.
him: you should find a boyfriend who has the same shoe size as you! so you guys can share shoes next time!
me: O______O
him: yeah! so next time, when you meet new guys, first thing you ask, 'what's your shoe size?' even if he's good looking but his shoe size is different from yours, forget it!
me: O______O
mom: he needs to have money too!

my mom's comment was classic. the moment she said it, all of us in the shop just O_O at her. HAHAHAHA.

TODAY'S THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

*screams*

OMG. 3 months just flew by. O_O this semester is ridiculously fast. i haven't played enough in school and it's the exams! this is scary. and before i know it, TQ finals will be here soon. *faints*

anyway, i was going towards the salon after my dad dropped me off after lunch. then this great eastern insurance guy stopped me and asked me to do a survey. since i had A LOT of time, i agreed. then we talked. and talked. and talked. and talked somemore. HAHAHA. omg. we talked for 30 MINUTES can. =.= i think all his colleagues thought we were crazy. we just stood at the pillar and talked non-stop. O_O i'm brilliant. really.

and a few days ago, while i was studying in my room, my dad suddenly came in and stared at my dictionaries. O_O i found that very uh weird so i asked him what he was doing.
dad: how do you spell 'deny'?
me: O_O uh D-E-N-Y.
dad: eh IZZIT?
me: how did you expect to spell it?
dad: D-E-N-N-Y.
me: O______O WHAT? *chases dad out of room*

OMG. wtf. my dad can't spell. =.= he's 50 and he can't spell DENY. it's a 4 letter word. what's so hard to spell about it?! omg. no wonder he failed his dictation when he was in primary school. omg.

exam tea is finally over! *punches fist in the air* and it was a HUGE success. there were like 3920394850 million people at the booth. lol. i didn't think i would enjoy myself during my duty times but surprisingly, i did. and i had so much fun that i did more than my allocated times. =.= well done mel. haha.

by the 2nd day, i felt like i was really working as some provision shop worker. O_O the way i cut open the boxes and stacked up the 'muesli cereals' on the table had all my welfare comm members just gaping at me. HAHAH. i have a new job prospect. yay. I WILL NEVER BE OUT OF A JOB. =.=

at the end of this exam tea, i took home 3 pens, 2 correction tapes, 2 bags of wangwang and 8 cans of bubble drink. OMG. i'm such a horrible person. haha. but we had too many anyway. so i just stuffed my bag with whatever that i liked. LOL. greedy mel. ^^

sent xiaokai home after TQ meeting today. lol. we were talking so much about online friends and fandoms and other stuff. and after i talked to him, i realized 'eh, my life's really interesting'. LOL. okay this was a totally random comment.

canvassing today yesterday with angie was really fun. hahaha. although we spent 3 hours standing there in the HOT sun doing nothing, it was still fun.

why?

coz we were being stupid outside the main entrance of velocity. we kept singing songs and danced around and poke each other and do goodness knows what other stupid things just to kill our boredom. =.=

the NCS people were easy to bully! i kept bullying the girl. coz she's so tiny and cute. lol.

I'M SO FULL THAT I COULD EXPLODE. zomg.

after tutorial, baka suddenly called me and said 'my mother asks you to come over for dinner to have crabs.' O_O yes, that was my exact reaction. honestly, since when do parents ask their kid's friends to come over for dinner? LOL. i had CM2101 test at 6PM and baka's family usually eats dinner at 6.30PM. but her mom said never mind. O_O

okay so the paper was supposed to be ONE hour long. haha. it was fairly simple and do-able (to me). i ran out of the hall in half an hour. LOL. oops. i didn't exact want baka to wait for me. i was afraid that she would STARVE to death. haha.

anyway, when her maid called us to come down. i got a shock of my life. i knew we were having crabs but what i didn't know is this...


a crab on a plate STARING at me when i came down. O_O

but anyway, we both had two hairy crabs each. a female and a male. the male one is NICER. i generally preferred the male one. hohoho. the roes in the female tasted like the egg yolk in mooncakes. LOL. during the entire time while i was eating, i kept apologizing to the crabs for eating them. HAHAHA. baka's maid was really amused. and baka just did what she always do... ignore me. =.=

after crabs, we had a proper dinner. and GRAPES, PINEAPPLE, CUSTARD AND DURIAN. omg. today is the 'stuff mel to death' day. and tomorrow shall be the 'mel is going to run 20395820394km to lose whatever i've eaten' day. HAHAHA.

random discovery.
MY DAD LEAVES THE DOOR UNLOCK WHEN HE BATHES.

lol. okay ignore that. i just found it very amusing and that i have to announce it to the whole world. hahaha. =.=

and i've come to a conclusion that in the future, it's very likely that i will RUN AWAY on the day of my wedding. this theory was proven on 1st november 2008, 12 midnight. LOL.

i decided to 'marry takaki' that night. coz 01.11 seemed like a very nice date. anyway, so i was feeling pretty okay around 11.30PM. talking to mich and melly as usual. lol. so when midnight finally came and melly said 'IT'S MIDNIGHT. FASTER GET MARRIED'. i PANICKED. i literally panicked. LOL. omg. and this wasn't even real please. i wanted to go offline, run away and go sleep. OMG IT WAS SO FREAKY. i don't think i've ever been so scared. =.= but yeah, the next day, i was reading the convos i had with melly and mich and found it highly amusing.

but anyway, I PITY MY FUTURE HUSBAND. i shall apologize in advance. I'M SORRY IF I RUN AWAY ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING MR X. lol.
