여성그룹 카라가 멤버 김성희의 탈퇴로 일대 변화를 맞는다.

카라의 보컬 김성희는 지난달 소속사 DSP이엔티에 학업에 전념하겠다는 이유로 팀 탈퇴는 물론, 전속계약까지 해지해달라고 요청했다. 당시는 DSP이엔티와 장기계약을 맺은 김성희는 1년도 채 계약기간을 이행하지 않은 상태였다.

하지만 소속사 측은 학업에 몰두하겠다는 김성희와 그의 부모에 간청에 고민 끝에 팀을 떠나도록 했다.

R&B 창법의 가창력이 뛰어난 김성희는 중학교 2학년이던 2005년, 이효리 주연의 드라마 '세잎 클로버' 주제곡을 부르기도 했다.

카라 측은 연내 새 음반을 발표할 계획이었지만, 김성희의 갑작스런 탈퇴로 인해 잠시 혼란이 있었지만 멤버 수를 두 명 더 보강해 5인조로 변신할 계획을 세웠다.

소속사 측은 "김성희가 공부를 하겠다는 간청에 따라 그의 뜻을 받아들이기로 했다"면서 "카라는 앞으로 더 나은 모습을 돌아올 수 있도록 하겠다"고 밝혔다.

카라는 두 명의 멤버를 오디션을 통해 선발할 예정이며, 이 과정을 한 케이블 채널을 통해 보여줄 예정이다.

KAP cheated our feelings! ): coz when alice and i were there, we found out that there was NO powerpoint anywhere. =.=;; kena sai leh. the place is HUGE but there is NO powerpoint anyway! roar. we should write in and complain or something. lol.

met alice at 11AM first coz ziping just woke up (=.=;;) and had to go to school. there wasn't a powerpoint so we went to JE library in the end. lol.

ziping dragged me down to music garage with her to return the chairs. her dad brought us to eat dinner at kimseng. and he sent me home! (: thank you ziping and uncle!

i told myself that i will make myself fall sick on the week on my oral presentation. and guess what? i've just caught a stupid flu. roar. mich is right. i always fall sick. unintentionally. bleh.

i am freaking pissed off with my stupid computer. UGH. i wanted to sleep right after i blog but the freaking thing hung on me again. %(@*#"($*! so i have to sleep later now! ):

anyway, I'M ON A MISSION! to kidnap unnie's darlings (if i can). LOL. unnie said she'll get D for me. hohoho. i'm very excited. ^-^

had wedding dinner at orchard parade hotel. the wedding rocks! you know why? they played KOREAN songs the entire time. hohoho. my aunties and uncles kept looking at me and asking me to translate. =.=;; then the groom was sabotaged so he had to sing a song for the bride. in the end, he sang the korean '3 bears' song and danced along with it. HAHAHAHAHA. cuteness.

ugh. i did a stupid thing. i accidentally cut myself while wrapping the stars these morning with aluminium foil. and just a while ago, i forgot that i had a cut so i happy poured the nail polish remover onto the cotton wool (which was on my injured finger). and i went O.O WTF! lol. now it still hurts. ):

anyway, today's semifinals ROCKED. omg. it was super damn fun can. hahaha. i met ziping, tara and ben at bukit batok first to get the chairs. ben drove us to junction 8 after that. he has improved! he only stalled uhh 3 times (as compared to 10 times on friday)! i have NEVER seen people driving vans on the outer lanes before. and ben was driving at like 100km/h. =.=;; i think he conveniently forgot that he was driving a van. dots.

at first we wanted to hang the stars on the ceiling. i had to do it coz i was the tallest and nobody else wanted to do it. at first i didnt think it was so bad but when i went up. OH SHIT. omg. it was damn scary. really. and the science club ladder was damn cui can. the thing is like BROKEN and it was WOBBLY. freak. i had to climb all the way until the 2nd highest step can. whenever i'm on the 3rd highest and i had to climb one more step, i'll start screaming 'MOMMY HELP ME'. then wobble wobble wobble. then try not to look down and tie the damn star to the damn pole thing. everyone just stood there and laughed at me! ): talentquest guys are USELESS. none of the guys offered to help okay! ): terenze CLAIMED that he was afraid of heights. weekeong offered (or so he said) but if i couldnt reach, he couldnt reach too (i'm sure you get what i mean). ben and xiaokai werent around. SO I HAD TO DO IT. ): everytime when i come down, my legs will be like jelly. haha.

my comm helped alice with the voting booth. we really didn't expect a lot of people to appear. but there were simply TOO MANY. lol. when i was counting the money, i suddenly looked up and got a shock of my life. in front of me stood a thousand and one people. LOL. omg. but that atmosphere rocked. the freestyle category was really really entertaining. especially those few magicians. too bad one of them didn't get in. ): we wanted him to get in de coz he rushed down from work so he didn't get his friends to come. SO SAD. roar. oh wells. he can always try again next year! hehehe.

one by one, my pub comm left me. ): i thought i had to take down all the decorations by myself! but nice programme people and veron took them down for me. without me asking. yay. during the debrief, tara said that the decorations were NICELY DONE and everyone agreed and thanked us! HOHOHO. finally. something we did that everyone appreciated. (x many thanks to mich, lijun, van and nelly! you girls are LOVE! (x

went to thai express for dinner. uh didn't eat anything coz i'm not a fan of thai food and i wasn't really very hungry.
