i wanted to blog on my birthday! but i came home at around 12.30AM. so i missed the timing! oh wells. hahaha. let me write out my day first.

dommi called at 8AM! omg. i heard my phone ring so i went to check. it had this long string of numbers! so i knew it was an overseas call but it just didn't register to me that dommi would be calling me. she thought i was in school. =.=;; but nevemind. at least she stayed up until 1AM to call me! i'm touched. we talked for like 20 minutes. hohoho. i miss talking to dommi on the phone!

met amanda at 1.30PM at cityhall! we walked one big around the basement of raffles city shopping centre before deciding to eat at cafe cartel. lol. as usual, we crapped damn a lot. when i was about to go and pay, there was this sign which says if you show your student pass, you'll get 30% off. OMG! so i told amanda to go and pay instead. hahaha. in the end we saved $6! is good de! if it wont for the discount, amanda's wallet would be empty.

after lunch, i rushed down to school. i was late for lke 15 minutes. =x oops but when i got there, they were still printing the proposal. =.=;; we took a cab there. timothy and ben in one cab. jenna, tara and i in another. WE WERE DAMN LATE. at 5PM, we were still waiting for the stupid cabs to come. then roland korkor called and told me that nobody was there yet. thank goodness. mediacorp is really damn cool. they'll register for you, give you this sticker and you supposed to key in the 6 digits on the sticker to get past the barrier thing. so fun! in the end, mark richmond didn't make it coz he had something on. so he got soowei (98.7fm dj who's super pretty!) to take over. BEN CANNOT GIVE PRESENTATIONS. honestly, once he started to talk, he kept rotating the chair! OMG. jenna, tara and i wanted to slap him! jenna told tara to tell ben. so tara wrote in her book and passed it over to ben but he still continued to rotate the chair! tara kicked him, but no effect. timothy tried to stop the chair with his leg, but ben just rotated away. tara held on to the handle, but no use! then suddenly as ben was rotating the chair, the chair kept squeaking! OMG. we were so horrified. so tara pushed the paper nearer to him so he could see and when he finally got what we were trying to tell him, he started to sit still. =.=;; stupid boy.

rushed down to meet my loves. jingie waited for so long can! OMG. i felt so damn bad. >( but thank goodness she was with wanjun! hahaha. thanks jingie for waiting for me! we must go out soon! wanjun and i decided to go to marina square first while waiting for our dear amber to come. we, too, walked around marina square before decided to eat at the food court. i had dessert while wanjun had soup! we talked so much. coz we havent seen each other for months! our dear amber only came at 8.30PM. omg. so i decided to just sit for 30 minutes more before i rushed to the airport.

met up with ichtus at burger king. i reached the airport around 9.45PM. i was dying from exhausion already. met clare. just stood around and stoned. hahaha. when clare was about to go in, i told her not to hug me coz i would cry. but she still did. =.=;; so i cried. omg i felt so sad! i dunno why. maybe coz she's been my good friend for like 19 years and it's really sad to see her go. T.T oh wells. she'll be back soon! (x

okay i'm super tired. i ran from place to place the entire day! my busiest birthday ever! lol. those who wished me happy birthday and those who bought stuff for me!

today turned out to be super fun. hohoho.

i reached school at 10.45AM! 15 minutes early! hahah coz i thought since it was raining, it would take quite long to get to school. but noooo. the bus uncle sped! hahaha. okay lah, not really sped but he went quite fast. then the shuttle bus came really fast too!

as usual, mich was the first one to be there. but thank goodness for her! coz she choped a space for us! lol. then came valerie, vanessa, yourong, lijun and shuwei. so we started discussing. everyone was kinda quiet at first, not daring to say anything. then yourong started saying out all his ideas then everyone started saying out! then yay! we got really good ideas okay! yourong is a GEM. he's super pro! his ideas really rocks. not forgetting the entire comm members! who improved on his ideas! (x

talentquest'08 pub comm is love!

had megabites for lunch with shuwei, vanessa, lijun and valerie. bonding session!

went back to the club room to have an informal exco meeting. okay it wasn't really a meeting. it was more of a last minute gathering to do the presentation and edit the proposal for mediacorp radio tomorrow. haha. jenna had to go early coz she had tuition. jenna's my 師姐! yay.

anyway, after we left, we were all doing our stuff seriously. ben doing the powerpoint, tara doing the proposal and i was sending out emails to the schools. i dunno what happened, i suddenly became really HIGH and kept laughing non-stop, doing stupid things like whacking myself against the table and all sorts of nonsense. tara started to go high with me coz both of us were so tired. ben was horrified can. he kept going 'WHAT'S WRONG WITH TQ COMM?!' and he refused to laugh at the stuff that i do! >(

met mich and a few other people at orchard mrt station before heading off to co bich's house. we took so long to find her house can! it's like situation at the END of the road. =.=;;

i helped to CUT MUSHROOMS okay. hahaha. i'm quite pleased with myself! considering the fact that i don't do housework at all! i didn't cut myself like i thought i would! hohoho. i did a good job out of it i must say! lol.

had fresh spring roll, fried spring roll, chicken soup and banana coconut. i liked the fresh spring roll and banana coconut dessert best! ^~^ yummy.

there was this guy called moses. he kept getting mixed up with mich and my names. coz the both of us kept sitting together and our names start with M. lol. then i was telling him he cannot call us by our chinese and vietnamese name as well. coz both our chinese and vietnamese name sound alike! hahahaha.

managed to attend a bit of the exco meeting. hohoho. agm at s16/0430. then dinner! and suddenly we had another impromptu exco meeting. LOL. it lasted until 9PM can. madness.

tara was telling me that she thought i was dao and quiet the first time she met me. of course lah. all of them had cliques when i first came. how to fit in? then alice also said she thought i was damn quiet last time. HAHAHAHA. then tara added that now she thinks i'm TOO NOISY. T.T so to prove that i'm not, i decided to stay silent for 5 minutes. HAHAHA. alice, tara and chooi sum were so amused. tara kept making me talk but i didn't want to! benjamin didn't know i was trying to be silent so he was like asking me a question and i refused to answer and just started smiling away. benjamin thought we were making fun of him. LOL. in the end, i survived the 5 long and agony minutes of silence okay! rarh.

i have a very eventful emailing day today.

15 emails to different schools to help advertise talentquest.
3 emails to mediacorp radio.
1 email to a photographer.

heading down to mediacorp to talk to mark richmond about the whole talentquest thing. benjamin, tara, jenna, me and possibly timothy will be going along. i am going to sit there and not make a sound. since i went through the trouble of arranging the meeting, i should be given the time off! besides, that day is my birthday! rarh.

oh i got my present from shu! wahahaha. flown all the way from perth! thank you darling! guess what she got me! a bottle of MAYO. and a very pretty pendant with a real pearl! omg it's really very pretty. i'm going to wear it on my birthday! wahaha. thanks shu for sending it over! thanks mich coz you're sharing with shu right? hohoho. you 2 are much love!

i have an EXCO meeting tomorrow at 10AM and here i am still doing my lab report. T.T i have to chiong that although i actually have 2 weeks to do it. i don't want to panic and rush it last minute. i'll just do whenever i can so it won't be so bad. there's so much to do can. omg. i think my lab report will come up to like 10 pages! save me. typing out the lab report isn't that easy as well coz i have so many tables to draw! ):

anyway, on a happier note, my cell group friends celebrated my birthday today! (x an early one but still... THANKS GUYS!

milton suggested crystal jade i think. coz of the xiaolongbao! so we went to the 拉麵 section. i had some shanghai fried noodle thing. the noodles were SO FAT. omg. i was going to die from eating them. the plate NEVER seems to be getting empty can. haha. in the end i gave up and gave the rest to milton! it's always nice to have a male cousin around! hohoho. =x i ate 2 xiaolongbaos! it was so good. my gosh. if only i could go down to the kitchen and steal all the xiaolongbaos! hahahaha. =x

after lunch, everyone was acting sneaky. =.=;; they are SO BAD at acting sneaky can. milton went down like halfway to buy a birthday cake for me. AWWW, SO SWEET. anyway, i pretended to not notice anything so that they could make faces at each other. hahaha. darius was the DUMBEST. omg. they give so many hints and he still didn't get it until the cake came. =.=;; shuzhen and valerie were so surprised that i figured it out can. they are really very bad actors. REALLY BAD. milton knew that i knew and i knew that milton knew that i knew. hahaha. call it cousin's telepathy!

he bought STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE from crystal jade's bakery! (x he said that was the closest to a pink cake. HAHAHA. and he got the woman to give him ALL pink candles. omg what a sweet cousin i have! ^^ either valerie or shuzhen suggested that everyone should sing happy birthday in korean for me. O.O can you imagine?! 5 people singing in korean, out of which the 3 guys have NO clue how to pronounce 생일촉하합니다. lol. they are a bunch of cute people! i love them so so so much! haha.

it's absurd and funny! the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard in the coming 19 years of my life!

everyone's going to laugh at this too.

i went for SOW committee interview after lunch. baka decided to just follow me coz she thought she might as well stay with me since we would be going down for the same tutorial lesson after that. she sat at the sofa at the end of the room while i went to the table where zoe and weiheng were sitting.

so they just started asking questions. normal interview question.

THEN! here comes the funny part.

weiheng: you come across to me as a SHY and RESERVED person. are you sure you can be rahrah during SOW?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

when i heard that, i went O.O. my mind literally went blank. coz nobody has ever said i was shy before. not used to hearing shy and mel together. LOL. baka was silently laughing at the end of the room can! lol.

went for maths tutorial after that. we kept laughing about it while walking up the stairs. went into the classroom and found qinyi with her friends. so baka told qinyi all about what weiheng told me. qinyi looked at me and went 'she where got shy?!' LOL. note, i've only known qinyi for less than a month can. and her friend, whose name i have forgotten to ask for, even said 'i think the person is blind'. SEE! coming from someone whom i dont know, tells me there's no way i'm shy. =.=;;

2nd meeting of talentquest exco. it was quite fun. benjamin, ziqing, huiling, tara, alice, chuoimun (i cannot remember her name. sorry darling.) and i turned up. left one more person i think. the marketing head. discussed the main stuff in like 2 hours. lol.

anyway, tony joined our cell group this morning. in the end, we just fellowshiped coz nobody prepared for the lesson. =x sat around AC and talk a lot of nonsense and got to know tony pretty well. he's such a lame and scandalous guy can. =.=;; went to some brew place for lunch. I LOVE NELSON. we shared a barcadi coke which was so good and i thought he was just going to pay for the drink but in the end he paid for my lunch too. (x i like having male cousins. haha.

just came back from 4b1 gathering. not many people turned up, as expected, but nevertheless, i was glad i went down. managed to meet up with people whom i haven't seen or heard from for 2 years.

left the place around 11PM coz i didn't want to catch the last bus and i have church at 9AM tomorrow so i didn't want to go home too late. surprisingly my mom didn't scold me. haha. she seemed pretty happy when i came home, which is good. ^^

came home at midnight last night! hohoho. swan lake on ice was really good. the skaters were awesome. my gosh. then there were 2 people who were skating on STILTS. can you imagine?! skating normally is already so hard. them skating on STILTS and spinning around and around! it's amazing. jaw-dropping. haha. then all the stunts they did were really great.

i like the younger prince! he's so HOT. =x

the place was FREEZING cold coz they had to keep the ice in the theatre frozen. my gosh. i almost didn't want to bring my shawl. thank goodness i did or else i would have became an ice block inside. hahahaha.

stupid dommi's leaving tonight. )x i'm so sad. EVEYONE'S LEAVING ME. why why why? )x rarh. i shall aspire to go korea so i wont be left behind! hahaha. i want to send dommi off. but i've got tuition and her flight's so late at night. rarh. and school starts at 8AM tomorrow. bleh. this sucks. i want to go changi airport!

i've got a weak heart. hahaha.

anyway, after maths tutorial, i went down to shu's father's office to collect something from him. i intended to go there, collect it and leave straightaway. in the end both of us had a nice talk. hahaha. he showed me pictures he took when he went to perth with shu for the week. i love the scenary! omg. especially the indian ocean! the water was super blue. it was damn nice! and the sky was beautiful. singapore cannot fight. all we see is grey skies. haha.

had our little vietnamese test. super easy can. it was just repeating the same thing over and over again. =.=;; but lesson 3 of vietnamese is really hard this time. there were so many new vocab words. can die. mich and i sounded as if we were chanting or something. super funny. everyone couldn't pronounce so we just laughed and laughed. lol.

mehmeh came down to NUS to find me so i could teach her chem. SHE GOT LOST OKAY. omg. i told her to use the overhead bridge and cross the road. you know what she did?! she saw the first flight of stairs she could see and went down on the same side of the road. =.=;; i have nothing to say can. lol.

after she came, i made her go down to NUH with me. hohoho. we went into the building through the basement. we had NO idea where the hell we were but we saw the sign 'kent ridge ward' so we just kept walking in that direction. then there was this guy who was pulling a few boxes behind me. we thought dead bodies were inside! damn scary. but we kept saying, cannot be. they should be in the mortuary, not the basement!

we found the lift at last. thank goodness. you know some lifts have like descriptions of the different locations of the different levels right? guess what i saw? basement - mortuary. OMG. DAMN SCARY. MEHMEH AND I HAD BEEN WALKING AROUND THE MORTUARY WITHOUT KNOWING CAN! now we keep thinking of those boxes we saw just now. omg.

we finally found the place. stupid darius didn't tell me which ward so just had to randomly pick one. lol. qingyuan's room is huge. really. it's bigger than my room can! stupid rich boy. it's just not fair. RARH. and at the end of the visit, which was about an hour plus, i found out that he was my acjc schoolmate. brilliant. everyone applaud please. when we found out that we were from the same school, we just stared at each other and said 'i have NEVER seen you around school before!' hahahha. it was so funny. =.=;; and i know a secret! wahahaha. ^^

mehmeh and i went to macs after that. qingyuan kept complaining and saying that he wanted to eat macs coz the hospital food sucks and darius kept saying he wanted to eat sundae. =.=;; in the end i told them i would eat for them. HAHAHAHA. mehmeh was so fascinated with macs coz she bought a mcspicy upside meal for only $5. lol. mehmeh studied chem! i'm so proud of her. she actually understood and could remember some stuff. haha. i was just studying as well since i didn't want to waste any time.

came home, watched the 7PM show on channel u. then went to study CM1111. decided to read the textbook to understand the chapter even further. in the end, my brain almost burst. omg. the textbook is so dense. that's why i hate reading textbooks. i told myself that i must not waste my $50 on the book and read all 1000 pages of it! at least once. hahaha.

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY LIJUN!

went to lot1 to find a last-minute birthday present for lijun. =x it was 10.30AM in the morning and i was so thankful that aries was open at that time! bought a necklace for her. something small but it means a lot okay! lijun, if you're reading this, YOU BETTER BE TOUCHED.

had CM1101 lecture. basically, lijun, rebecca and i were just fooling around in the lecture. as usual can. lijun and i managed to finish a whole packet full of honey stars! hahaha. we're so brilliant. i think michael (eh lijun, that's his name right? i kinda forgot.) was super amused with us can. we were nice enough to give him one honey star. lol.

had CM1101 lab after the lecture. the lab was so freaking hot can! and we still had to wear that long sleeved lab coat. we were practically dying from the heat. lol. and that lab was pair work! super happy can. rebecca and i finished the whole experiment in 1 hour and 30 minutes. the good thing about uni is that once you're done with lab, you get the TAs to sign the data sheet and you're allowed to leave! ^^ some people just don't understand the meaning of PAIR WORK. there were 4 titrations to do. obviously, pair work means that one person does 2 titrations each right? but NOOOOO, so many people assumed that pair work means that you do the 4 titrations together! that's pair work! =.=;; it's these people who leave at 5PM instead of 3.30PM.

went to megabites to eat! our favourite hangout in science. the only place with air-con and good food. ^^ the food is seriously getting better! the soup totally rocks! rebecca and i were so happy after we were done eating. haha. since i finished early, i figured i had enough time to go home, bathe and rest for a while before going for tuition.

i finally had TWO kids only. wan went back to indonesia coz this week's the school holidays. the other 2 girls were taken by kenneth so i was back with my original 2 kids. poh rong was really guai okay! he did a whole exercise of geometry! congruent and similar triangles. hohoho. usually he refuses to touch maths but i didn't allow him to do english coz he's english is already quite good. so he said he wanted to do the triangle triangle thing. and he did! and he learnt something new! i'm so proud of him can! keith didn't do anything. =.=;; he came from east coast and was too tired so he just sat there and played with his handphone. rarh.

came home and found my mom watching some channel on national geographic channel. it's super cool. it's about creepy crawlies! they showed how they used MAGGOTS to heal open wounds. that was awesome! although it's kinda gross. think, maggots in your open wound. kinda sick but it's really heals. wow. and many other creepy crawlies. my favourite show! haha.

went to school at 8AM for MA1421 lecture. rebecca and lijun were bullying me. they are forever bullying me. i'm very upset. MEL IS AN ENDANGERED SPECIES. stop bullying her. HAHAHAHAHA. ^^

had a freaking 4 hour break can! mich accompanied me until 11AM coz she, sheryl and their other cousins were going to lot1 to watch ratatouile. so good. )x stay in the deck for another hour, doing my lab report before nette came to join me! we decided to go to the library to study. hohoho. i managed to finish my vietnamese and maths homework! aren't you proud of me? haha.

left the library at 1.45PM to go for my vietnamese class.

met marissa and nette at 3PM. went back to the library to study again before their 4PM lecture. went to LT11 for their lecture and i found out my stupid period came. so i had horrible cramps the entire lecture! can die okay. forgot how bad my cramps can get. T.T

my mom called me during the lecture. so i picked up the phone.
me: *whispers coz i'm in the lecture* hello?
mom: *whispers too!* where are you?
me: O.O mommy why are you whispering?!

LOL. my mom is super cute.

met yingquan after the lecture so we could meet xuanru at clementi before going to clarke quay for dinner with the rest of the people. i was practically dying. wanting to kill myself but i didn't want to pangseh them coz i promised them a week ago. so i forced myself to go okay! dommi you better be honoured! i sacrificed my life for you! hahaha. we walked around central but there weren't any halal food. in the end we ate at this indonesian restaurant.

after eating, we took pictures! haha.

marc came to fetch nette. that lucky girl. but nice marc gave me a lift home. ^^ yay. i love my bestie and her boyfriend. the 3 of us were so high in the car can. imagine 2 people who don't have enough sleep and 1 person in pain. hahaha. we were playing with the star and mushroom soft toys that nette put in marc's car. =.=;;

MY 'RUN HERE RUN THERE' 6 HOURS NON-STOP DAY IS OVER!

seriously, i'm going to lose weight soon can. i had to literally run to the bus stop after my first lesson, which was at 10AM. after alighting, i was already 15 minutes late for my vietnamese lesson so i didn't bother to find the lift and ran up 4 storeys! after vietnamese, at 12PM, i had to run to chemistry lecture, which was not only located at the top of a slope, i had to climb a stupid flight of steps! after that lecture at 2PM, i had to run to econs.

SEE, I'M SO GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT. my calves are cramping up. )x

had my darling roast chicken sandwich for lunch! mich decided to listen to my recommendation and had one too! ^^ hohoho. i give good recommendation okay! lol. then went down for driving lesson. i was 45 minutes early! and i needed to go to the bathroom so badly that i had to walk all the way to macs just to use their bathroom. lol. i think the people there thought i was mad. =x and i sat on the drain just at the parking lot to study! HOHOHO.

i was super tired while driving that i kept spacing out. can you imagine?! me spacing out while driving! omg. so scary. but thank goodness i didn't get into any accidents. rarh. having driving after a long day is not a very good thing to do but i have no choice. that's one of my early days.

went to lot1 to buy dinner. stupid mehmeh was supposed to meet me at 6PM but in the end said she was late. see lah, i told her to leave the house at 2PM but she insisted that she was super mehmeh and can zoom to choa chu kang really fast.

in the end, she came at 7.30PM. so clever right? during that one and a half hours, i managed to fold clothes, bathe, eat dinner and watch half of my korean drama. tsktsk. and because of her, i had to sacrifice the other half of my korean drama and 'live the dream'! )x i don't even know who was the other soloist who got into the top 10! sad.

anyway, mehmeh studied! hohoho. she really studied for that 2 hours she was at my house. did a practice paper with her. she... really never pay attention in class. ALICE AH, scold your sister for me can?! hahaha. her explanations are all very nonsensical. my gosh. i have NOTHING to say. gong obso! ahh, i haven't used that phrase in a very long time!

yay i think it's like my longest entry in years. haven't been able to sit down and blog properly. my lesson starts at 12PM tomorrow so i can sleep a little later tonight! i guess after this i'm going to either go through my tutorials or read my book! yay.

mel is okay already! coz i kinda did half of my homework and i'm done with the interview. therefore, i'm back to my lame and crazy self again. lol.

interview today was okay. i guessed i freaked a lot the day before so when it was the actual interview, i felt so numb that i didn't even feel anything. hahaha. =x and i couldn't help but feel very amused throughout the whole interview. oops. and i got a shock of my life when i saw kangyang there! OMG.

after the interview, i was complaining to him that he didnt tell me he was going for today's interview. hahaha. but he was really nice and all. nice senior. a nice guy. wow. i haven't associate nice and guy together for a very long time. haha.

went for piano. then met mich at jurong east mrt station. WAITED FOR 2 HOURS FOR OUR HIGHNESS TO ARRIVE. rarh. marissa, mich, dommi and i did full pedicure while meredith did full french manicure. we all have pretty toes now! my toes are light glittery brown. something different. next time, i'm going to paint my toenails blue. coz the blue that one of the manicurist used was really pretty. hohoho.

liz came after a while and we met sam and sheryl downstairs. marissa and meredith had to leave so the rest of us went to carls' junior to eat.
