yup. after 16 months of blogging here, I'M ABANDONING THIS. mel doesn't like abandoning blogs. i abandoned diaryland 2 years ago after much consideration. )): but then again, nobody really comes here anymore. it's more happening at LJ. ahem, yeah.

YES PEOPLE, I'M BACK FROM JAPAN. XD

didn't blog after i came back coz i had tons of things to do. i'm blogging about my japan trip. yes i am. so don't worry. you guys will get to read what i saw and did in japan. XD it's just taking a really long time to blog everything out coz suddenly, i seem to remember all that we did in japan. O_O i'm amazing. really. van, grace and baka are just waiting for me to finish so they can put on their blogs 'link to mel's blog to find out about our trip'. =.= win. my friends are making use of me. lol.

anyway, today is my 1st son's birthday! XD

went for canvassing today for SCAMP comm. ahma, peiying, kanyang, brenda, weiming, xiaohan and me went. we were supposed to pack fruits. at $5/hr. =.= anyway, i thought packing fruits would be okay. boring yes, but i didn't think it would be that bad.

but YES IT WAS VERY BAD.

why?

when we walked into the aircon area, it was like japan temperature. but all of us thought we could still survive in it while packing fruits. then the person opened a door to this warehouse and said 'that's where you're packing fruits'. O_O how intimidating. but anyway, when we stepped in, OMG. IT WAS LIKE 4 DEGREES OR SOMETHING. it was freaking cold! and all the girls wore shorts. we win, didn't we? lol. =.= we went in, and ran out. hahaha. it's really damn freaking cold. we kinda made so much noise that they turned off the aircon. LOL. but it wasn't any better.

we were supposed to pack 200 cartons of pears. each carton has 20 boxes. each box has at least 5 pears in it. O_O kangyang and i were kinda competing with each other. LOL. he complained that i was packing too fast and he couldn't unwrap the pears faster than me. i complained that he was unwrapping them too fast. HAHA. we were both trying to match up to each other's speed. =.= opposite the table, xiaohan was complaining that peiying was packing too slowly. HAHAHA! total opposites. XDby lunchtime, we only packed 100 cartons. OMG it was crazy please. we were only halfway done.

after lunch, the guy assigned me, peiying and xiaohan to pack peaches. i was in charge of sticking the stickers to the box after they packed it. omg it was so hard at first. i kept pasing it off center and stuff like that. LOL. fail. but after a while, i was like some auntie expert. =.= i could toss and twirl the boxes around while sticking the sticker. =.= xiaohan wanted to try sticking once but she gave up. LOL. she went back to packing the peaches into the boxes instead. XD

after peaches, were nectarines. same thing, i was in charge of sticking. HAHAHA. but this time, they had to weigh every box of nectarine. coz they had to mix in big and small ones to make it at least 1kg. kelian de xiaohan and peiying. but i must say, we make a pretty efficient team. hohoho.

after packing nectarines, we had to pack yellow nectarines. =.= they are different okay. hahaha. in one box, there were at least 13 nectarines. O_O while the 3 of us got to pack different fruits, the other 4 were still packing PEARS. omg. those poor things. i felt so sorry for them. after they were done with the pears, they had to pack another kind of pears. LOL.

the last fruits we packed were apricots. you could tell all of us were dying and freezing. haha. my hands were so numb that i couldn't feel them at all. i had a million cuts on me but they were all not painful coz my hands lost their feeling.

as of now, my hands are still feeling kinda numb and kinda painful in a way. and i have a flu. =.= well done. i can't believe i survived in that cold room with shorts. wow. if i ever go there again the next time, i'm so wearing winter clothes. XD

i'm leaving for japan in 18 hours. XD

therefore, my blog will be sleeping until the 13th. haha.

i'm going there to gain 10kg. omg. all my running will go to waste. oh wells. i'll come back looking like an onigiri. HAHAHA.

valerie came to church! XD omg i was so happy to see her. haha. it's been nearly a year since she flew off to australia and i haven't kept in contact with her at all. i'm such a horrible friend. oops. too many things happening during school and holidays. hehe.

anyway, i had a stomachache during sermon and had to go to the restroom. when i came back, pastor lynette just finished her 'magic show' and she saw me come in. so she said in front of the whole congregation 'hi dear, you just missed my magic show' and the entire congretation turned to look at me. =.= yeah sure they laughed. but omg i was EMBARRASSED TO THE MAX. after service, everyone was like 'omg mel you came to church at 10.15AM? when service was ending?!' =.= don't be stupid people. why would i go to church if service is ending? geez. thanks pastor lynette. for letting everyone know my existence now. roar. i'm sure she enjoyed doing that. *stabs pillow* lol.

I'M BANNED FROM RUNNING.
lol. my mom refused to let me run since i've been feeling under the weather lately. headaches, flu, stomachache and stuff. i think it's due to the cumulative lack of sleep and appetite. lol. blame it on the exams, that's what everyone say. i wonder if it's really the exams. hmmm. anyway, i found an alternative to exercise instead of running, since my mom refused to let me go downstairs and run until i faint. XD my uncle gave me this 'twist and shape' machine thing. hohoho. it's useful. i perspire like mad. but i love it. XD yush people, MEL LOST 5KG IN A MONTH. aren't you proud of me?

my secret?
1. EXERCISE REGULARLY
2. EAT IN MODERATE AMOUNTS
3. DO NOT SNACK (i mean it. this is important)

oh man, now i sound like some health freak. =.=

anyway, exams will be over in 2 days for me. XD CM2111 on tuesday, 1PM. i'm actually slacking off already. since that module IS open book. =.= it's never a good thing to have open book exams for your last paper. you just lose all your motivation to study. haha. but it's good in a way that i'm not THAT worried for it. there ain't much to study to begin with. and his notes are nice, short and understandable. XD

therefore, i'm being a horrible slacker and watching 'galileo'. HAHAHA. and as all of you know, once mel starts watching dramas, she becomes this FREAK that just sits in front of her laptop the entire day to finish the drama. haha. i intend to finish this by tomorrow. XD yush, one day before my CM2111 paper. i rock, don't i? haha.

was watching 'my precious you' with my parents during dinner. it's a new KBS drama. the little girl called 'jiu' in the show is DAMN CUTE. omg. her brother in the show is super cute too. i wanted to take a picture of her to show you guys how cute she is. and well, when i was going to take it, she was crying. HAHA. so you guys shall see how she looks like, crying. she's still cute kay. omg, i want to kidnap her. haha.


one last thing before i end, wow i have quite a lot of things to say today, MEL IS DETERMINED TO BE A BETTER CHRISTIAN. yush. my mom made a comment that made me ponder over it for quite a while.

'you're wearing a cross necklace and earrings. you're representing God. so you should watch what you say. it doesn't give people a good image of you.'

i totally agree. and that's why, i'm going to STOP swearing from today onwards. yupp. so people, please help me okay? please feel free to scold me when i use the f-word. thank you very much. よろしくお願いします. XD

THE KILLER DAY IS OVER!

i've never liked having 2 papers in one day. =.= totally drains out your energy. seriously.

anyway, when i reached temasek hall this morning for CM2102 paper, everyone told me i looked pale and dying. LOL. well yeah, i haven't been sleeping properly ever since exams started. =.= i was amazed at how i could survive the entire day today without fainting during the paper.

4 papers down, 1 more to go.

what's with everyone and having babies this year? XD

benjamin korkor's wife just gave birth to a baby girl last october.
sharon jiejie just gave birth to a baby girl, evageline, 2 weeks ago.
julian korkor's super cute jap baby boy is turning 1 years old on 13th december.

OMG. i have so many nieces and nephews. i was counting and i have 12. omg i'm only 20 and i have 12 nieces and nephews, of whom 1 is OLDER than me. lol. crap, i don't want to get married already. I HAVE TO GIVE SO MANY ANGBAOS NEXT TIME. *wails*

CM2101 IS FINALLY OVER! XD

omg super happy. i'm so glad it's my first paper. now i can burn those stupid notes and forget all about the damn principals of spectro. haha. i think i finally can sleep and eat again. i was so stressed over this module that i couldn't eat and sleep last night. the more i look at food, the more i wanted to puke. omg. stupid CM2101. ROAR.

4 more papers to go. whoosh.
