Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #26 - Layers

Hey there, friends! Who's ready for a new Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge!? This month we are focusing on 'Layers'. There are so many different ways to create a layered card, we can't wait to see what your take will be on it. I chose to keep my card still pretty simple, both the layout and the layering.

I started with a white card base and added a strip of black and white patterned paper along the bottom. I die-cut the 'hello' from the Orange You Sweet die collection and attached that above the striped paper. The 'L VE" and heart are from the Love You So Bundle. Those were added underneath the hello with dimensional foam. I added a flower, from So Happy For You, and leave from the Just Because die collection. And to finish it off, I added 'hugs & kisses', again from Love You So.

Thanks for visiting with me today. I'm excited to see all of the layered cards that you create for this challenge ... I hope you'll join us! You have until October 29th to link your projects and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th.

Have fun and happy creating!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #25 - Color Inspiration

Good Sunday morning to you, friends! There is a new challenge starting today over at the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog and this month we are focusing on Color Inspiration! The team has so much to share with you today and each of our cards feature the beautiful color scheme you see below.

For my card, I used the new Shiplap Sentiments for my sentiment and mixed it with the leaves from the Thankful Leaves Bundle. I stamped the large 'hello' stamp in four different colors and then cut them up and put them together on a white card base.

I tucked a few die-cut leaves around the corners and added the rest of my sentiment above the hello. Along the bottom I added a strip of Kraft cardstock and to complete my card, I added a few yellow and clear sequins!

We are excited to see your take on this Color Inspiration challenge. We sure hope you'll join us this month! You can link up your project on the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog and enter for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the Concord & 9th store. Have fun creating!

Concord & 9th - Feature Friday - Grateful For You

Good morning and happy Friday to you, crafty friends! The Where Creativity Meets C9 team is back for one more Concord & 9th Feature Friday and today we are featuring the beautiful Grateful For Everything Bundle. I love the large floral spray in this set and how you don't need a whole lot of  'extras' to make a simple, beautiful card.

On a white card base, I stamped the floral spray along the left side of my card front. Next, I colored it in using the Copics you see listed below. Once that was done, I set it aside and moved onto my sentiment.

That was stamped in white onto a piece of black cardstock. I popped that up with dimensional foam and attached it to the front of my card. To complete it, I added white Nuvo drops to the centers of the two flowers and a few clear sequins.

I have truly enjoyed creating with all of Concord & 9th's new products this month and am sad to see our Feature Friday posts come to an end. You can see all of the cards my teammates created for you today by visiting the Concord & 9th blog!

Have a great day!

Concord & 9th - Feature Friday - Thankful Leaves

Happy Friday, friends! The Where Creativity Meets C9 team is back for another Concord & 9th Feature Friday. Today we are showcasing the beautiful Thankful Leaves Bundle. I created a set of five cards for you today. All featuring the same design, I just mixed up the colors and sentiments!

One of my favorite things to do is to fill in the negatives spaces of a die and make it super colorful. That's just what I did with the Thankful Leaves Die. I chose a fall-ish color scheme and just went to town die-cutting the leaves. After mixing up the colors and filling in all of the negatives spaces, I attached them to the card fronts that I had previously stamped with the sentiments.

The sentiments are a mix of both Thankful Leaves and Shiplap Sentiments. I just love how these turned out. So worth the time that it took to fill them all in. :)

My lovely teammates have lots to share with you today using this beautiful bundle. Pop on over to the Concord & 9th blog to what they created for you!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by to say hello!

Concord & 9th - Feature Friday - I Wish I Could Hug You

Hey there, crafty friends! It's Feature Friday at Concord & 9th and this week the Where Creativity Meets C9 team is showcasing the beautiful new floral set, So Happy For You and the coordinating Floral Hoop Dies. I love floral sets and Concord & 9th never disappoints when is comes to designing them!

These are also available in a DISCOUNTED BUNDLE!

I started by stamping my favorite sentiment in the set directly in the center of a white card base. I also attached two strips of colorful cardstock along the top and bottom of my card. Next, I stamped and did lots of die-cutting. After I had all of my flowers and leaves ready, I started assembling them around my sentiment until I was happy with how they looked. They were all attached with dimensional foam.

There is a lot more to see of this beautiful set from my WCMC9 teammates. Be sure to visit the Concord & 9th blog so you don't miss anything! :)

Enjoy your Friday, friends and thanks for popping in to visit with me!

Concord & 9th - Feature Friday - Eat Cake

Hi again, friends! I'm back to share one more card with you today! This time I am sharing a little something with the rest of my Where Creativity Meets C9 Team for Concord & 9th's Feature Friday. It's been so much fun creating with their new products and today I have a card featuring the new, Top It Off and Top It Off Dies. I adore this cake set and have so many ideas of what I could with it!
This set also comes in a Top It Off Bundle where you can get both the stamp set and die collection together!

I started with a white card panel and stamped the cake layers off the left side of my card in a few different colors. I attached that to my aqua card front and then moved onto my sentiment. I die-cut Eat Cake out of turquoise cardstock, attached that, and then stamped Happy Birthday onto a strip of white and popped it up with dimensional foam. For a little sparkle I added hot pink and clear sequins!

For more inspiration from my wonderful teammates, be sure to visit the Concord & 9th Blog!

Happy Birthday with Concord & 9th

Hey there, friends! I'm happy to be popping in to share a project I created for this month's Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge and also for this month's Concord & 9th Release. This month is a BIG month for them as they celebrate their 3rd Birthday! I have loved Concord & 9th from the very beginning and feel very honored that I get to share projects using their beautiful products as part of the Where Creativity Meets C9 team.

This month's challenge is …

Today, I have an fun new birthday set that I am featuring. Birthday Dies and Birthday Balloons Stamp Set Bundle is FREE with your qualifying purchase. How fun is that?! You can find all the details on their PROMO PAGE!

Here is what I created by mixing both the stamp set and dies! Who doesn't love a fun birthday set? I love the large balloon in the set, which filled up a large portion of my card front. I stamped a few stars to decorate it and then die-cut banners from the Birthday Dies set. The sentiment is also a part of the die collection.

So this month's challenge is Anything Goes, which means the sky is the limit and you can create whatever makes your heart happy. I can't wait to see your creations! You have until August 29th to get your projects linked up on the WCMC9 blog and enter for your chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the Concord & 9th store!

Stay tuned during the month of August, as the Where Creativity Meets C9 team will be Concord & 9th's Feature Friday guests for the month. So excited to share more with you using the products from this awesome new release!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #23 - Mixed Media

Happy Monday, friends! Are you ready for the next Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge? It's going to be a fun one. This month we are sharing Mixed Media projects and we are so excited to see what you come up with.

For my card, I have a mix of watercolors, ink and felt! I started with a white card panel that I did a bit of watercolor splattering on. That was the base for my Just Because images to sit on. I then die-cut the rectangle and popped that up with dimensional foam. Next, I die-cut part of my sentiment (because) and stamped the remainder on a strip of hot pink cardstock.

Using hot pink, light pink and orange felt, I die-cut flowers and attached those around my frame. I also die-cut leaves and tucked those underneath my flowers. To complete my card, I added a clear dew drops to the centers of each of my flowers!

And now it's your turn! We'd love to see your take on this challenge. You have until July 29th to upload your Mixed Media project on the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Concord & 9th!

Happy creating!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #21 - Floral

Hello, friends! It's time for the next Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge. We are revisiting one of our favorites … FLORALS! As we enter the season of visiting nurseries and planting our gardens, I don't think we could have picked a better theme, do you?

Concord & 9th has released so many beautiful floral sets that I absolutely adore … Painted Rose, Hello Lovely, Wildflower and Wonderful Florals are just a few. For my card today I used the beautiful Hope stamp set.

I chose a bright and bold color palette and began stamping my flowers on the front of my white card base. I also stamped a few leaves in there to add a bit more color. After they were stamped, I wanted to add a little detail to the centers of a few of my flowers. Using my black pen I added a crosshatch design.

My sentiment was stamped on a strip of white and attached with dimensional adhesive. And last, I added a few clear sequins!

Are you ready to join us? We sure hope so. You have until May 29th to add your card to the link-up and enter for a chance to win a $25 Concord & 9th gift certificate!

Have fun creating!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #20 - Spring

It's time for the next Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge, friends! Who's ready? You will love this one because our focus this month is SPRING! I'm so happy that spring has arrived. It is still quite chilly in my neck of the woods, but the snow is melting and the birds are starting to chirp ... a wonderful sign that the warmer weather isn't too far away.

For my card I used Concord & 9th's Just Because Bundle. I have been creating with this set so much lately. I just love everything about it!

I did quite a bit of die-cutting and not a whole lot of stamping to create this. I started with a turquoise card base and attached all of my leaves (die-cut with the cross-hatch leave die) up the left side to create two rows. I die-cut  more leaves using a darker green and cut some of them to attach over my lighter green leaves. For my flowers, I chose bright white so they would POP! After attaching them all, I added colorful sequins to the centers.

Love this sweet and simple sentiment included in the set ... You inspire me! I stamped that in black onto a strip of white and popped it up with a bit of dimensional foam. And lastly, I added a few more sequins just above that.

I sure hope you'll join us in this in this challenge! You can read all of the challenge rules HERE incase this is your first time joining us!

Happy creating, friends!

Where Creativity Meets C9 - Challenge #19 - Sketch

Happy Friday to you! There is a new challenge starting today over on the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog. This month we are trying something we've never done before...

a fun SKETCH! This sketch is very simple, but could be interpreted in so many ways, as you will be able to see from the design team.

I chose to use Petals & Pallets for my card. I started by cutting 3 strips of colorful cardstock and stamped those using one of the wood slat images. I attached those to my white card base and then moved onto my sentiment. I stamped and die-cut all of my flowers and leaves and popped those up using dimensional foam. To finish it, I added a few clear sequins to each of the flowers!

Now it's your turn to create a card for the challenge! I can't wait to see all of your takes on this. You have until March 29 to get your entries in and don't forget, there is a $25 gift certificate to the Concord & 9th store for the winner!

Happy creating!
