Hello, my dear blog friends, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday, we challenge you to "Make a Rainbow". This theme can be interpreted in many ways, you could choose to actually paint a rainbow or use a rainbow of bright colours on your project.
This week, we also are showcasing Tim Holtz Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in, but if you have them we would love to see them used!

I created a mixed media card with a rainbow background using Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain and the sentiment using Tim Holtz Mini Motivation Stamp.
This is a 4.25" X 5.5" card that I used white cardstock as the base and the watercolor paper as the background. To create the background, I first sprayed the Tim Holtz Distress Sprays on the Layering Stencil with various colors, then I pressed the stencil on the watercolor paper. The watercolor paper was cut and distressed to fit the card base. And the card base was distressed using the Simon Says Stamp ink pad.
On another piece of watercolor paper, I colored using a pen brush and Daniel Smith watercolors to paint the rainbow colors. After it was dry, I stamped the sentiment, cut and distressed the sentiment. The sentiment was pasted on the card using Tombow Adhesive tab.
I added some leaves, flower, metal buckle and sentiment stickers on the card for decoration.
This rainbow colors really brighten my day. I hope you got inspired and create something to share us, too. Can't wait to see what project you do to make a rainbow!
