happy weekend everyone

Its weekend once again.. A not so busy one for us hopefully. All i hve in our schedule would be Joaqui's classes at The Little Gym. He was absent last Sunday, so we are having a make up class tomorrow morning, then by Sunday, back to his regular schedule.

Gelo is planning for another bowling game with JV, my SIL's bf. Oh we'll see. Sorry but im not into that sport, or should i say, im not into any sport than shopping hahaha!

Oh, and we gotta do some groceries later, our ref is almost empty LOL.

Happy Birthday Elmo .. and Goodnight Joaquin

Elmo is the son of my cousin, Kuya Elmer. We went all the way to SM Fairview storyland to join the celebration. Joaqui had fun with the carousel.. :) Here's a few of our pics to share.. I have about 200 , but i still need to do some resizing :)

Oh, these 2 shots are taken last week i guess, before bedtime. I just love his new PJ's. I bought 3 from an online store :) Bagay pala sa kanya mga snug-fit hehehe:)
He's so much into scribbling too, it keeps him busy even on trips. I usually bring along his Disney cars Book with a sketchboard at the top portion of it. Cool! And we are starting with the alphabet now. He recognizes the letter A at Avent and Aveeno, and just about any toy or book that has the Big "A". I might introduce him with "E" next time. He mumbles A kasi, so i guess, E would be easier to say than B? Hehehe..

Weekend Fun

Here's a few of our shots at Villa Rowena Resort in Calamba. Joaqui still has colds then, he stayed at the pool for picture taking purposes only. His Plouf looks good on him, and for the short time that he was on pool, Gelo attempted not to hold him, and boy.. he's floating! hahaha! aliw na naman ako :)

It was raining hard when we went to my MIL's place. Joaqui enjoyed playing with his Playdome (good thing i thought of bringing it along), so we "escaped" to visit Henry's Camera at Quaipo. We bought a few items for the cam of course, hehehe. I think its called sun filter?! It was Gelo who asked for the items so i don't have any idea with the exact name. We also had a plastic protector placed on the view screen. It was a quick trip , coz it was almost lunch then.

After lunch, I put Joaqui to sleep. I guess he got tired of playing and running around. Gelo and I left the house at 2:30 pm coz we need to be at MOA around 3pm for Kuya Ricky's ( Gelo's Cousin) birthday.

We met Kuya and some of Gelo's cousins there. My SIL , Love and her BF, JV was there too. We had an early dinner at Lamesa grill, and the boys had a few bottles after . And since i'm allergic to alcohol, i managed to keep myself busy experimenting with the cam. And making chika too.. hehehe :) Like my previous post stated, i am so proud that i was able to get nice unedited pics hehehe.

We ended the night with a bowling game. Oh i mean, they played bowling :) I have my "babaw" reasons on why i dont play bowling .. first, ayaw ko ng bowling shoes, pwede ba ibang style in the same sole? hehehe ..and second , im afraid to have an aching arm the next day, knowing ihave a toddler to attend to.

Gelo still plays good even without practice..he used to play a lot during college.

We had so much fun. I guess this is the first time that we all went out, and we should do it again hehehe. It was also a first time for me and gelo to be actually out on a date with cousins. Or just be out without joaquin. Kasi, we just had 3 movie dates eversince I gave birth. And that is like a year and 4 months already. LOL! Oh, and the movie dates are plainly "watch-movie-then-go-home-asap".

We are such paranoids, we kept calling my MIL to check if Joaqui is crying, sleeping ? .. etc etc. LOL

Nevertheless, its's such a fun , fun fun experience :)

Happy Birthday Sierra

Last SUnday, July 8, we attended Sierra's 1st birthday at Hard Rock Cafe Makati. Sierra's Dad, Patrick, is Gelo's bestfriend since High School. Her mom Erika is my dear friend since we starterd preparing for our wedding last 2005.

Let me give you a brief background about Erika and I muna. She got married last May 2005, June 2005 naman ako. We share almost the same suppliers then. Venue, Gown Designer, FLorists, musicians,jeweller, etc . When we got pregnant, we would always talk to each other over the phone, and would most of the time see each other on our free weekends. I just miss those days... We got busy with life after giving birth.. but we always keep in touch. And we make it a point to see each other at least once a month.

So back to Sierra's birthday..

Joaqui was asleep a few minutes after we arrived. His pics at the on site Photomug looks like he is under drugs LOL. Poor baby. So We ( gelo, my sis and I ) enjoyed the buffet coz we are not bugged by the little boy. Ang dami ko tuloy nakain. Joaqui woke up in time for the magic show. (poor thing, the battery of our cam was low batt already). He claps his hands and keeps on touching Sierra. Hehehe.

I had fun during the ventriloquism act of Flooch. As in nakakatawa kasi sya and his puppet. I wasnt able to get a balloon from the balloon burst. Buti na lng may sobra sa prizes, Erika gave one to Joaqui. The lunch bag give away was filled with yummies that I enjoyed like marshmallows, jelly ace, and cheese balls!

To Erika and Patrick, congratulations for throwing such a wonderful party for your little girl. And hope to see you sa opening ng Nail Spa nyo sa Greenhills ( ayan, Advertisement na ha).

And of course, to my dear inaanak Sierra, Always be a good girl just like mommy ( di naman to siguro mababasa ni Patrick LOL). We are always here for you coz we love you! Cant wait to see you bloom into such a pretty girl!
