Something like that. It has been over two months since i last posted. Nary any blog-hopping.
Wishing you all a great week ahead, and hoping i am not forgotten!
Thanks for reading:)
I have done some stitching though very very light weight considering the two months that have passed. For HNA i am now above 75% complete. I think i should now start saying last 3 bands remaining.
I have put two pics of HNA, the latter showing my current progress
This Manka-SAL piece is stitched, but finishing is not yet seeing the light of day. So you now know what a 'weak' update this is *sigh*
Like my stitching my book reading has dwindled - early May i was readingThem. An uphill task if ever there was one, i had to drop it . We (my son and me) picked up The Cold Sassy Tree. What a beauty this book is, apparently the author Olive Ann Burns wrote this book while she was suffering from cancer. There is an unfinished sequel to this too, called Leaving Cold Sassy. Whatever reviews i have read tell me this does not hold a candle to the old one, so i have decided not to read it. Book buying is ongoing. The latest buy (just one book) is The Stranger's Child by Alan Hollinghurst. Currently with The Book Borrower.
The constant joy in my life,
Wishing you all a great week ahead, and hoping i am not forgotten!
Thanks for reading:)
