On Legacies

The grand babies - when they are older no photos will be published as their lives will be private. But here, as their grandfather is laid to rest Tuesday, I wanted you to see them, this once. Their Mom is a flaming redhead, like me, but the girls are blond, like their Dad.  I'm so very blessed to have them all  in my life.

    Love them hard, teach them plenty, and turn them loose to learn their way through this world. Be close by to hug them when they need it, kiss their "boo-boos" then turn them loose once again!

    Monkeywrangler - the oldest was able to say goodbye to her grandfather. With all the tubes and everything she knew it was serious and got that time.

    Sarah - in certain light there is. Their Dad is German/Polish and Mom is German/Scot.

    Ruth - my daughter is getting a lot of support from a very large Hawaiian family, and her Dad's family, as well.

    Well Seasoned Fool - well thank you! They're as smart as they are cute - I have the feeling world domination is not out of the question by the time they're seven.

    Murphy - I will do so.

    Merle - well thank you. Their mother is stunningly beautiful and their Dad, who has been with my daughter since high school, is quite the handsome fellow (and a shooter and a hockey player to boot).

    Old NFO - some say the oldest looks just like me, others the youngest, I don't see it, but thank you!

    They are precious. But, I could swear that hair is a shade of red. I am quite sure your smarts and looks will be dominant, especially if your daughter looks like you. Three generations of exceptional (in all ways) women is what I see.

    Cute grand children indeed. Grand children are special as they have some twinkle in their eye that catches their grandparents hearts. Then again, someone once stated, "Grandparents, so easy that any grand child can operate."
