EBW for June/July

Good Day to ALL you wonderful friends.....WOW how time flies :D  It is time once again for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog!!!!   Our Challenge for this month is Red, White, Blue and......Remember you must use an image designed by "The Wonderful Elisabeth Bell"

I used EBell's digital image~~Little Lamb  made a baby card

Card base is white CS then used SU dp's --MS Cherish rtp punches fancied the dp's.  Sentiment is Studio G stamp--inked edges with TH fired brick DI.  Don't you just love the sweet Heart and Lamb embellishments--found them in my stash!!!  

 

Copics used~~Hair E37, 35, 33,31....Blues B29, 24, 21....Reds R29, 24, 22.... Apron C3, 1, 00...  Skin E11, 01, 00... Lamb W5, 3, 00 with Snow Marker pen for fluff ;)  

Shows dimensional layers--I use foam tape.

The floral background made using Inkadinkado stamp with TH faded jeans and fired brick DI's then stamped with versamark ink--sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heated to get shine!! Layer upon SB scallop oval and accented with Wild Orchids pearls.

Baby Girl Elephant Card!

Hello~~Meet "Baby Elephant" by Crissy Armstrong!!!

Isn't this just the sweetest baby elephant!!!  I had a request for a baby girl easel card and..... the baby's room theme is Teal and elephants--How cute!!!:D

Here is my card....................Tell me what you think!!!

Colored Baby Elephie with copics and pastel pencils.  Cut out with SB Circle nestie and matted with SB scallop nestie and third layer was a SB scallop octagon nestie.  Image edges softened with SU Taken w/teal ink and blinged with Viva Decor glitter liner pen.  The sentiment is from a NEW Blog I found one day~~~Netty's Cards...and she has freebies!! Easel Card was made using dp's from DCWV Garden Party (teal) and KandCo. Specialty Pack.  If you look close you will see corners on front were punched with MS scallop 3 dot corner punch and the Kand Co dp was dry embossed with CB swiss dot folder and then I swiped dots with SU Taken w/teal ink.  

Base was designed the same only the dry embossed teal scallop circle mat was dry embossed with different CB folder and once again swiped with SU teal ink. **TIP for TTT~~for dry embossing to really stand out just swipe it with ink to darken pattern as you see above!!!! The verse is Hampton Art--Love and Joy-- stamp. Used TH spun sugar ink and softened edges with SU taken teal while still in SB nesties. Edged with Viva Decor Glitter Liner pen--added MS butterflies and Prima Pearl swirls--which were used throughout the card--on sentiment, butterflies, base!!

The SB oval on middle of card is for personal message to be written is desired :)

Ink:  Memento Rich Cocoa; Copics; TH brushed corduroy

Paper:  SU cardstock and others??

Tools:  Magnolia doohickey dies; SB curved rectangle nestie; corner punch; SU border punch

Embellies:  Viva decor Iced White Pearl pen; ribbon; brad; prima flowers

BABY CARD AND GIFT!!

Good Day To All!! Yeah it is saturday and I don't have to work away from home today :) I actually slept in~~~whoa that doesn't happen too often :D

Made a card and a Double-sided Doorhanger Gift for a friend who is going to have her first baby soon.
LOTS OF PICS SO HANG IN THERE!!!
 The card is an easel card made with SB Scalloped Octagon nesties. 

Front of card:  Used Bazzill's Tapioca CS--the white embossed layer is a gift from My Mom which came in the mail yesterday~~just had to go and create with it~ this is sooo preetttyyy I hate to cover it up at all ;)
The baby shoes stamp I bought at Michael's.  I stamped twice and layered the shoe in the foreground only.  Colored very litely with W-l and W-00 copics, then cut out with scallop oval nestie, slightly inked edges with TH scattered straw ink and finished with adding diamond glaze for shine.
Embellished a few of the embossed dots with yellow stickles and a few others with moonlight smooch.

Inside of card:  Upper white area left for personal message.  SU whimsical word sentiment stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink and punched out with SU oval punch~~outlined with yellow stickles. The teddy bear is Sizzix sizzlet--stuffed animal set.  Accented teddy with yellow stickles and moonlight smooch.  Used foam tape to pop up sentiment and teddy bear.

And Now For The Rest of The Gift:   A double sided DOORHANGER!!!!

Doorhanger was made using SB Labels Ten Nesties and Paper Temptress Shimmery paper from the Spring Package.  Taped ribbon to inside and glued the labels ten pieces together. 

One side:  is WOJ Willow Holding Baby--I didn't do pink or blue cuz we do not know what baby is yet :))))  Colored image with Copics--cut out with SB mega oval and layered on mega scallop oval.  Sentiment --Precious Little Baby--- is a Marcella By K embossed sticker.  Embellished with a few pearls~~ Wild Orchid flowers blinged with stardust stickles~~MM pin with added metal spacer and bead~ a few flower sprigs from my stash~and Swirls are my new Marianne createables that I bought at CHA --mmmmm good!!

Other Side:      So very very FUN!!!!  Used the Sizzix animal set sizzlets and layered with different color papers.  Added texture and depth with copics, souffle ink, and diamond glaze.  The FUN dotted DP is MM English Garden.  Taped teddy, lion and lamb onto dp then found some adorable kiddie charms and metal dots for flavor and Fun :D

The next few photos capture the shimmer of the gorgeous paper and shine of glitz and glaze on the images!!! BLING BLING BLING ***:D*****

2010 SUMMER CHA and SWEET BABY CARD

Hello Everyone~~ Summer CHA in Chicago was absolutely Unforgetable!!!!!   When we walked into the Donald E Stephens Convention Center I had to stop and tell myself to breathe--LOL   The room seemed unending ~~friendly people everywhere, unimagineable excitement and every crafting item or gadget you could possibly imagine and MORE!!   I have to thank my dear daughter Kim~Crafts By Kim for this magical opportunity~~~SO THANK YOU KIM!!!

Here we are at the Super Show with Colleen --The Viva Decor Diva :))  She is such a genuine and grateful person~~Love you Colleen!  Boy oh boy do we love her products!!!

SWEET BABY GIRL CARD

Jennifer Meyer--owner of Stamps and Smiles had opened her home to us for the week.  What an amazing family they are--Thanks Jennifer--Her and her families love and kindness was beyond extreme!!

So yesterday I made time to craft with a few of my new fun things from CHA--just like christmas :)

Used a digi image that Jennifer shared with me--called Sweet Baby Girl  and used the sketch from MMSC64:      

Sweet Baby Girl Card!  Starting with a few close ups~~~

Isn't this just the cutest!!
Colored with copics. Used sky blue shimmerz on moon and sparkle ATYou Spica on stars and jammies:)

Added Marvy Liquid applique to cloud. Punched around image and matting with MS traditional eyelet corner punch. Popped image up with foam tape, added gold star button, inked edges with TH spun sugar ink and finished with Viva Decor Rose paper pen sprinkled with glamour dust.

Papers are Basic Grey Sugar Rush, SU cardstock and Gingham Paper found HERE.

Sentiment "hello baby" is SU Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Swirls were stamped with versamark--embossed with gold powder and fancied with Viva Decor Rose Paper Pen and glamour dust :)

The inside: top portion

"Small Wonder" is a SU Whimsical Words sentiment stamped on a Whipper Snapper tag which was stamped with versamark--embossed with gold powder and cut out. Embellished tag and eyelet lace on gingham paper with Viva Rose Pen again~~I like the Viva Pens!!!

Now The Inside: bottom or message portion:

Message area is bordered with Blitz Sequins stickles.

Lower border was stamped with a Whipper Snapper heart border stamp again with versamark and gold embossing powder and fancied with Viva Pen ;o)  Yum yum!!

Baby Boy Card!

Hello there~ I had time to play today and decided to use the gifts I received from Terri E's blog candy. Thank you Terri!!!!!!!!! I found a bunch of paper and embellies to make baby cards which I do not have very much of. The challenges I followed are: MMSC #23 sketch and SSCC #8 ~~ challenge #8 is to make a baby card or project.
Here is my card!!!
The dp paper and embossed sayings are Marcella By K. Several spellbinder nestibilities and EK Success and MS border punches were used. All the elements were popped up with foam tape and this was the first card that I restamped the image and cut out puppy to give him added dimension :D I love how it turned out!! Hard to see in photos :( Finished by adding ribbon, ric rac, buttons and rhinestones.
