#12 Christmas is Coming! or Winter is Here! with Mary Lou

Christmas Eve is here and the excitement fills the Air!! Tomorrow~~Christmas Day~~Jesus is the Reason!!  I wish ALL the JOY,  LOVE and BLESSSINGS thru our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
Now onto some extremely great news to share with you~~Crissy Armstrong~~Sundays with Crissy has asked me to fill in on her DT for alittle while so Maria can have a break ~~We all know how important that is:0)  So Maria, beathe and relax:)  I pray you find comfort and rest for you and for your family!!!  Thank you Crissy and crew~~I am truly HONORED and TOUCHED!!!

So for my card I have used the Whimsy Classic Santa by Crissy

Made a Criss Cross card using K and Co Xmas Cheer, Recollections Xmas CS and AC Specialty Foil Papers.  

Colored Santa with Copics and Prisma Pencils.  Added White velvet flock sprinkled with SU dazzling diamond glitter to his trim on coat and hat. Accented with Gelly Roll white pen and used Clear star pen on his sack and designer candy cane belt :0)

All edges were inked with TH Brushed Corduroy. Sentiment from Inkadinkado set.

Border is an EK Success punch.

The pull tag was made with the smallest SB beaded circle nestie and topped with an Epiphany Crafts customized button--Click Here to check out this cool gadget!!

My friend asked me if I would make a card for her boss from the staff.

A note from Crissy:
 I'm going to do something a little different for blog candy with this month's challenge!  In the spirit of Christmas and giving, I am going to give away one digital image to the first 12 players!  AND I am opening up the contest to include EVERYONE (not just for those using one of my images)!! My parents Christmas Card using the following sketch from Fiday Sketchers

An Easel Card :)

For tag~ used the SUdp and inked with TH aged mahogany and added diamond stickles to the lace border

After coloring with Copics and adding alittle Beeswax Shimmerz, I then covered her flowing gown with diamond glaze~~It just GLISTENS!!

I took Kim's idea of popping up one wing for depth~(Thanks Hun:) and then outlining with diamond stickles.

AND that gorgeous Paper Temptress shimmery paper~~mmmmm lovely :)

CREATALICIOUS GUEST DT CARD!!

Here we are again with another wonderful Creatalicious Challenge for December :D Yea!!
The challenge is to make something for Christmas and include 1 ribbon, 5 flowers, 2 snowflakes and some bling!!! Easy Peasy for all ;)

I made this beautiful Doorhanger to compliment my dining room decor!!

Papers are Anna Griffin Xmas Designer Pack. It has Flocked snowflakes~~mmm delish!!!

The Welcome Christmas is BG stickers blinged with lime green stickles. Cut octagon shape for door knob with SB nesties and then reinforced with border from the AC specialty foil paper to give christmasy color accents :)

Meet Jolly Tilda all decked out for Christmas Fun :)  Colored with Copics~~added stickles to the lace on her outfit. Diamond glaze and velvet flock accent her santa hat.  Oval nestie inked with TH vintage photo and stickles. Popped up on several layers~~bottom layer is peony green foil design, then Sparkly Snowflake from stash, then Red Octagon nestie that was detailed with SU doily punch and then the oval with Tilda.

Enjoy this Beautiful image~~Touched By Love 

Colored Touched by Love image with Copics!!  Used moonlight smooch and frosted lace stickles on her wings and smooch only on blanket binding.  Red AtYou Spica pen glitzed her sock, sleeve cuff and earring :)  Added stars on upper edge of image with dot of stardust stickles

This Whimsy digi is sooooo very sweet that I don't think I can part with this card :)

Isn't this a Christmas Beauty to Cherish~~Little prejudice wouldn't you say LOL

The gold background is a tan CS that was texturized with Quickutz snowflake folder and then spritzed with Tsukineko Gold Shimmer Spritz~~Such elegance :)  Dp are the scrumptious SU Deck the Halls pack.  

Flowers made with Marianne Creatable Dies and Sizzix snowflake die~~all inked with TH walnut stain and edges with stardust stickles.  Centers are Paper Studio brads :)  Finished with crystal spray and pearl swirls

Here you can see all the sparkle and shimmer of the smooch, stickles and especially the gold shimmer spritz on background CS~~OOooooo I like!!  If you click to enlarge you will really see what I mean :)

Inside of card is a SB beaded circle for personal message with inked edges and glitzed with Viva Glitter liner pens.

Whimsy~~Leap of Joy

I won this FABULOUS Whimsy digi~~by Crissy Armstrong called "Leap of Joy" so had to create :)   Fun Fun Fun!!!  THANKS DEAR CRISSY~~you truly brightened my world!!!!  MWAH!!!!

I have used alot of new products and techniques on this card!! I will explain as the photos continue~~So please hang in there :D

The Amazing New digi image at Whimsy by Crissy Armstrong~~Leap of Joy!!

You can purchase it precolored or line drawings~~your choice:)

Colored with Copics of course!! Added stickles to bow and bells. Liquid applique to tail, ear, on horns and nose.  Diamond glaze to eye and hooves. Polar white FS to blanket edge :) 

Check out these snowflakes!!!  Brown are a Sizzix die and the centers are homemade with Hearty Modeling Clay--a SU serene snowflake stamp-- then spritzed with Tsukineko Gold shimmer spritz and left to dry.  Once dry-- cut to desired shape~~what do you think??

Now what do you think of this texture??  Dreamweaver Embossing paste, mica powders and this petals stencil all at Susana's Store!! I used translucent paste and brushed in mica powders while stencil still in place~~ QUITE STUNNING!!!!!

Just think of all the beautiful backgrounds and fun you can have with this~~OOOOoooo Yah!!!

By the way the doves are a MS punch--inked edges and glistened with Moonlight Smooch.

The inside of card:  Used EKSuccess border punch.  Inked edges of message area and stamped SU sentiment with TH broken china distress ink.

Christmas Ornament

Good Day Everyone!!!
Made an ornament/wall hanging (whatever you would like it to be) with Magnolia Tilda w/3 flowers~~She is sooo adorable!!  Not the traditional christmas colors so I guess you would call it an Nontraditional Christmas Ornament :D hee hee

Used Bizzy Bec's freebie circle sentiment and super enlarged it :) Ooolala I Like!! Thanks Bec :)

Inked with SU teal ink and outlined letters with Sakura Gelly roll clear star pen

The multi layers are:

**My new SB beaded circle nestie which was blinged with versamark and SU dazzling diamonds glitter~~I am still dazzling with glitter -LOL

**SB FleurDeLis pendant on Rose Quartz Metallic paper that I got at PaperTemptress

** Snowflake painted with Viva Precious Metals Paint and sparkled with twinklets~~if you haven't seen or tried these paints they are To Die For!!! They dry fast, cover in ONE coat and come in many different colors~~Hurry over and check them out before they are gone!!!

** lastly is the Lovely Miss Tilda

Finished with Viva Iced White Pearl pen, SU pearl in center of snowflake, ribbon and silver snowflake garland for hanger

Tilda colored with copics and added stardust stickles to hairkerchief, lace and dark trim on dress.  She is popped up onto the snowflake
