Mr. Owen is 8 Months Old

Today Owen is eight months old. Crazy!! He is growing so darn fast and I can't believe that he will be one in only four more months.
Here are a few things he is able to do now:

• He now weighs 18 lbs 5 oz.
  
• He no longer wants to eat baby food. He would much rather prefer eating our food! We have started giving him little pieces of normal food and he loves it!
  
• He has mastered the art of crawling and gets into everything now. His favorite place to crawl is in the bathroom. I don't know why but I now have to keep the door closed so he won't go in there.
• He has begun to sign a few things. These include: milk, eat, more, all down, food, mom, dad and ball.
• He has started to say "Mom, Dad, ball (which sounds more like "Ba"), More ("Mo")
• He tries to clap his hands but still is not quite able to get it just yet.
• He is trying so hard to pull himself up. He has managed to pull himself up to standing up the tub and a few other things. He is just not wanting to slow down.
• He is finally over his RSV but we are still being cautious.
• He has started using this high pitch squeal when he is mad. I guess he wants us to know that!
• He loves to give kisses but we have to be careful cause he gets a little excited and like to bite and grab your face. I have a few scratches on my face to prove it.
• When excited or getting tickled he will squeal with delight. It is just too cute and so much fun to tickle him.
• He loves playing with Vanessa and will now follow her everywhere
• Loves to play peek-a-boo and patty-a-cake

He is just such a joy to have in our family and we love watching him grow!
