Seasons of Santa....

I've been creating some more Christmas cards to add to my collection of 'For Sale' packs.  This set uses the DSP Seasons of Cheer from the Occasions mini catalogue and Santa's Gifts stamp set from the Annual Catalogue.

I've stamped all the Santa scenes of Whisper White cardstock and coloured them with the Stamp'n'Write markers.

Here are the cards in the set....I've tried to make each card a little different in the layout, as well as using different embellishments for the sentiments.  Firstly, here are some close ups of the sentiments.

And here's a close up of the Christmas tree with red baubles.....I'm loving the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details!!! Don't you just love that bling!!!

And here are the cards.....

Stamp Sets: Santa's Gifts, Peaceful Pines, Holly Jolly Greetings, Six-Sided Sampler
Colours: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Mellow Moss, Daffodil Delight, Basic Grey, Crumb Cake, Hello Honey, Real Red, Smokey Slate, Blush Blossom (retired - but is the perfect colour for Santa's face).

Happy Stamping.....Manda xx

Six-Sided Fusion

This card is a challenge card.....no it wasn't a challenge to make, I made it to enter a challenge......This Fusion Challenge: French Twist.

Here is the inspiration.......

I love that you can choose either the photo, the sketch or a combination of both.  For my card, I've chosen to combine the two ideas.   I've taken inspiration from the photo in a few ways.  Some like the colours and bow are obvious, but I wonder if you know why I stamped the bottom of the card with the floral image from Six-Sided Sampler?

Well......

I've lined up the image repeatedly to replicate the texture of the tulle that is visible on the top of the skirt.    I also love that the antique brad detail matches the detail on the stamped image....I discovered this quite by chance when looking at which brads I had left in my container.  Not only did the colour match, be Stampin' Up! have co-ordinated the accessories as well.  How awesome is that?????

Anyway,....here's the full card.

Stamp Sets: Six-Sided Sampler, Banner Banter
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate
Other: White Organza Ribbon, Antique Brads, Stamp-a-ma-jig (very important to line up the hexagons in a uniform pattern!!) (Yes I am OCD!!!)

Happy Stamping.....Manda
