peppermint candy progress

I am busy sewing pieces for peppermint candy. I am working on the whites background pinwheels. I like this kind of sewing- matching pieces and chain sewing-. I'ts easy to get in the zone and let the machine do it all. Ir's time to turn the quadrants into blocks.

tiny tuesday border

This is the border I plan to add to my tiny Tuesday quilt. Maybe, I can use up a few more 2 1/2 strips. It is simple and quick to sew, and I will have a few bonus triangles as a bonus.

tiny Tuesday rows

Before we left Indiana, I had joined a few rows for  tiny Tuesday I didn't bring it with me, but I figured out the border I want to make for it. So I have something back home that I can look forward to doing. Although, I am bringing uncompleted projects, too.

The blocks were designed by the academic quilter

We had a magical airboat ride Saturday. We saw gators and the birds were amazing.

peppermint candy quilt

I made just a little start on peppermint candy quilt. I have used these pieces as leader//enders as I work on  squared away  and dresden plates. It's extra fun when the points of the pinwheels turn out well- haha      I really haven't sewn much since we have arrivesd at our son's house. He has some wonderful Florida things to do. Such an adventure.
