CASology Week 68: BLACK

Wow the cue word at CASology is black.  I thought a lot about what to make and when a new stamp arrived from Unity I decided on the card.  Funny how one thinks okay this will be clean, simple and easy and then you touch the just heated embossing powder.  At first I thought of white background paper but that was too stark and then I selected Basic Gray paper and that was too dark and then I remembered I had purchased Smoky Slate.  Using Versamark I stamped onto black paper and then used a NBU embossing powder "Silver Satin Pearl" and heat embossed the image.  I popped up the stamped image with mounting tape.  There you have another Christmas card made and I like it.

Stamp - Unity "Holiday Joy Christmas Tree"
Paper - SU! Black, Smoky Slate

Ink - VersamarkEmbossing
Powder - Stampamania Silver Satin Pearl (I bought it a long time ago and NBU)
Other - Mounting tapehttp://casology.blogspot.com/2013/10/week-68-black.html
