This week at MUSE the lovely Darnell is the guest designer. My inspiration for the card is Darnell a person who is kind and thoughtful to all. I chose a favorite stamp of mine Flower Fields and marked it with SU! writers and spritzed with water. When dry I stamped the verbiage and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Next I matted the image onto Melon Mambo SU! paper. On the left side of the base cardstock I attached a strip of washi tape, and then attached the design. I used the colors used by Darnell (a great combination) and attached the "pearl" which was significant in her story.
Stamps - Stampendous "Flower Fields", verbiage SU! (set unknown)
Paper - SU! Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Ink - SU! Writers Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Old Olive
Other - Versafine, embossing powder, washi tape, pearl
Thanks so much for your kind comments on my "Darnell" card. Yours is really, really lovely, and I love how you've used a pearl in your creation. Really a gorgeous card. My prayers are with you and your family, and hope any issues will resolve. Blessings, Bev
ReplyDeleteIt's a real treat to see your beautiful CASE of my card for MUSE, Barb!! As you know, I'm a huge fan of the spritzing watercolor effect and you've done it perfectly here! Good job on embossing that sediment, too, and I love that you added the pearl!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but notice Bev's comment above mine. I'll add my prayers, as well! Thanks again! Hugs, Darnell
I love the almost 'wild' look of those roses! So pretty! Thanks for joining us at Muse!
