What a week :)

Been a busy bee sorting out and rearranging my studio into a more workshop holding friendly space, I am currently writing up the workshops I want to teach then I will go mental and post them everywhere although I will only be able to have a max of four people at one time.  I am also working on a few commissions and doing some online tutorials (still) the biggest thing is trying to set up a nice photography area and work out how to film the tutorials...how to edit etc :S  oh well I love learning so that's no problem.

I have been working on a collection of F1 driver pictures done in Faber Castell polychromos and I also will start using my Caran D'Ache Luminance pencils too.

Journaling some great quotes and getting some good pages together in my notebooks.

With my crafty side still firing on all cylinders I have scanned a few decorations that I have put together and you can use these collage pictures in your art :)

A Little look at my Studio

Hey hey, well I am struggling with my usual thousand ideas of stuff to make and do and in the midst of that I have been trying to sort out and decorate my studio.  I have to sort out decorating lots of boxes so that it look less of a mess..I do have a lot of stuff !  I'm working on making another issue of my online magazine 'icraft' with a view to doing it more regularly next year, maybe monthly or every two months hmmm have to think about it.  I am sorting out getting my workshops ready for people to sign up, probably next January now.  It is unbelievable how long th prep for all these projects takes before you can actually get to do something with it.

But for now I am going to post a few studio pics but remember this is not finished... more tidying to do...

One thing I was really pleased with was digging out my bike and F1 illustrations and paintings, some unfinished and getting them up on the wall, inspires me more with my drawing and makes me a little more focused and serious with being an artist :)

I'm back !

Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since my last post, but I'm back :)

I have been quite busy in general and had a little bout of sickness recently which put me out of action for a little while but here are some pictures of what I have been up to in the last few weeks.

The first ones are of a washi tape banner and then some little cardboard houses that have an inside box to keep trinkets and treasures in ..

 

I also got a bit carried away one day making my own bakers twine because it is quite expensive and I wanted specific colours and colours that were brighter, I will do a quick tutorial on it this week as it is really easy :)

And lastly here are some pictures of decorating a new journal and a piece of fabric with fabulous bright paints in my studio :)  When finished I am going to turn the fabric into cute tote bags.

 

I also bought a fabulous screen printing kit yesterday and I am so excited to use it, I haven't done any printing since college, I am going to make some bags to start with and then t-shirts and posters etc yeay !!
