澳洲西饼家の榴槤泡芙 ~ Durian Puffs @ Australian Confectionery

一位很要好的朋友说了好几回澳洲西饼家的榴槤蛋糕很好吃
可是当我踏入这西饼家时

我却被这里的榴槤泡芙吸引了...
A good friend had been telling me the durian cakes at Australian Confectonery is really good
but when i dropped by at the confectionery
i was attracted by the durian puffs instead...

榴槤泡芙 (RM1.50/个):
体积稍微大过 开心小食店之榴槤泡芙
泡芙软软的有点嚼劲
浓郁的榴槤香味内馅 还可以吃到榴槤肉
一定要冷冻才好吃!
Durian puff (RM1.50/each):
they are much bigger than those durian puff @ Kafe Happy Meal
the puff is soft with a little chew
it smells really good and we can even taste the durian flesh in the filling... so yummy!!
best eaten when chilled ~

说好是下午两点到四点之间的
可是差不多两点的时候就接到电话说蛋糕快送到了
十分钟之后这就是我收到的咯:
Delivery time is estimated between 2 ~ 4pm
however about 5 minutes to 2pm some one from the bakery called
and another 10 minutes later this is what i received:




一个看起来朴素又简单的蛋糕:
可是谁又在意它的外表呢...
A humble looking cheese cake with minimal decoration:
who cares about the decorations anyway...




这榴槤乳酪蛋糕很软很香滑
下面是一层消化饼皮 有点脆口
一软一硬的口感搭配得不错
每一口都吃到榴槤肉哦...
冷冻过后更美味!
Creamy and smooth cheese cake with crunchy digestive biscuits crust
it tasted really good when chilled
every mouthful is so yummy with real durian flesh

We have heard and had so much Pandan Layer Cake
Now durian flavour layer cake is available at Golden Bake!!



我买了半个回家试:
i bought half a cake to try ~





榴槤千層蛋糕 (RM27):
我要求店主把它切成小块 比较方便吃
Durian Layer (RM27):
i have requested it to be cut into small slices




蛋糕很软也很蓬松
充满榴槤的香味
不会太甜 冷冻的时候最好吃!!
the texture is soft and fluffy:
full of durian aroma
it is not too sweet and best eaten when chilled... yummy!!





这蛋糕也切片出售
要RM2.70/片
虽然价钱比较贵
同样大小的班兰千層蛋糕才 RM20
可是很值得试咯!!
they also sell this in slices at RM2.70/slice
It is slightly more expensive than the pandan layer which is priced at RM20 for the same size
but it is worth the price!!

浓浓的椰浆里有蕃薯和芋头块
还有西米和木薯块...
很好看味道也很好哦
Bubur Cha-Cha (RM5.90):
consists of sweet potatoes and yam cubes in a thick coconut milk
there are also sago and tapioca cubes...
so pretty looking and delicious too





一人份的下午茶 (RM9.90):
下午三点到六点而已哦...
包括烤饼, 金枪鱼多士, 鸡肉多士, 和一份热糖水或一份热的饮料
Tea Time Set for One (RM9.90):
serve from 3pm - 6pm daily
comes with one scone, one tuna toast, one chicken toast, and one sweet endings hot or one quenchers hot


蕃薯糖水:
糖水是用姜煮过的
份量比普通的小
蕃薯块入口即化而姜糖也不会太辣或太甜...
Sweet Potato Soup:
Sweet potatoes in a clear soup accented with ginger for an added zing - a combination of warm, comfort food with a sweet burst of spice
portion is smaller than the regular ones
the sweet potato cubes melt in the mouth while the ginger taste in the sweet soup is not overpowering...




烤饼, 金枪鱼和鸡肉多士:
份量都小小的很适合下午茶...
烤饼送来的时候是微热的配鲜奶油和草莓酱
金枪鱼和鸡肉多士也很够味好吃
The scone, tuna toast and chicken toast:
mini portions good for a light afternoon tea...
the scone is served warm with fresh cream and strawberry jam
both the tuna and chicken mayo are flavoursome





烤乳酪通心粉 (RM10.90):
用料有鸡肉香肠和蔬菜
很多料哦味道也不错...
乳酪也烤得很漂亮没烧焦哦 ~
Baked Mac 'N' Cheese (RM10.90):
Macaroni dotted with chicken bologna and vegetables, topped with cheese and baked to perfection
ingredients are generous
and the cheese is baked to perfection with no burnt mark found...







榴槤泡芙 (RM6.90):
饼皮有点厚和硬
应该是做蛮久了...
榴槤泡芙的下半部还有水印
我还是比较喜欢 Lee Lee’s Sumptuous Desserts 的榴槤泡芙
Durian Pancake (RM6.90):

and so they claimed...
but we find the pancake skin is pretty tough and water marks are visible at the bottom half of the pancake
the skin is not as soft & delicate as those found at Lee Lee’s Sumptuous Desserts

一个常去买面包的地方
各式各样口味的面包
最爱他家的麻糬面包可是很久都没买到了...
今天又去买面包时意外发现了这个 XO 榴槤面包
A bakery i often visit...
they had beard of many flavours
i used to love their mochi bun very much however i dun seem to find them any more...
today i dropped by for some bread and discovered this yummy XO Durian bun

刺刺的表面还有椰丝装饰
Thorny outlook with coconut pulps:
some has got more thorns than the others...





里面的馅:
很多榴槤...
而不是榴槤口味的鲜奶油
面包是松软的里面的榴槤馅也不少... 很好吃哦

the bun is soft while the durian filling is generous... delicious ~

先后在 Joe 和 Lyrical Lemongrass 那儿看到这榴槤泡芙
很想吃哦...
终于忍无可忍跑到谷中城去找!
这档口并不难找
就在连接谷中城和 The Gardens 底楼通道里的一个柱子下
First i read abt this at Joe's and then again at Lyrical Lemongrass's
well, cant wait any further must go get this and try for myself....
This store is not hard to find
it is located at a pillar along the walk way which link Mid Valley and The Gardens at lower ground floor



这些可爱的榴櫣泡芙都是预先包装好的
一盒两个的要 RM4
一盒六个的就 RM10
外层是超薄的煎餅 (可丽饼)
我回到家的时候有几个都穿了小小的裂缝...
These cutie durian puffs are sold in prepacked boxes
box of two for RM4 or box of six for RM10
The crepe or pancake use as skin of these puffs are really thin
when i got home some of them already torn...

除了外层是超薄的煎饼
里面的馅是榴槤肉和新鲜的奶油
吃的时候很像咬着没种子的榴槤一样 ~ 超赞的
从冰柜拿出来时马上吃最好味
These durian puffs are so delicious...
very thin crepe with lots of durian flesh and fresh cream fillings
just like eating seedless durian
taste best when chilled ~




他们也卖青色煎饼外皮的芒果泡芙
吃过的同事说味道也不错
可是如果和榴槤口味的比较就差多了 ~
They also sell mango puff in green crepe but according to my colleague who tried it
she said it is not too bad however if compared to the durian puffs it is no where near ~
