有一段日子没去找我喜欢的杯子蛋糕了...
今天就去看看 ~
Been awhile since i last had any cupcakes...
so here we go ~







墙上各种口味的杯子蛋糕目录:
25 种各式口味的杯子蛋糕可是每天都有点不一样哦
除了几种畅销的每天都固定出售
还有些特别口味的只在一个星期的某一天才有
The menu on the wall:
25 types of cupcakes but not all of them are available at the same time
there are some basic types which they sell every day
but there are also some assorted flavours sold on different days

这是两个杯子蛋糕的盒子
还有适合不同数量的盒子...

of course there are bigger boxes for more cupcakes



卖相简单:
very plain looking cupcakes:





Chic Flick (RM4.50):
这是黄梨口味的
外形比普通的小一点
蛋糕松松的可惜少了黄梨的香味
上层的糖霜很甜... 对我来说是太甜了
Pineapple Cake with Sage Frosting
the size is slightly smaller than the average ones
the cake is fluffy but lack of the taste of pineapple
while the frosting is really sweet... way too sweet for my liking



蛋糕里没有黄梨...

Rum 'n Raisin (RM4.50):
酒和葡萄干口味的
味道普通酒地味道非常轻微
糖霜一样的很甜 ~
Rum and Raisin Cake with Run Frosting
tasted normal with very light hint of rum
and the frosting is very sweet too ~



蛋糕里有少许的葡萄干...
with some raisins in the cupcake:

位置并不很理想...大门是向着后面的
就在 Jaya One 后面
可是还是让我们发现了这里的杯子蛋糕
价钱也蛮公道的 RM3.50/一个
Location might not be ideal...
right at the back of Jaya One and facing the back road
but din stop us from discovering the cupcakes there
prices are very reasonable too @ RM3.50/pc ~



对于包装有少许的不满意...
个别包装的还好
可是如果买多了就会有这个问题:
Not quite happy with the packaging though...
for the individual plastic containter it is still acceptable
however when you order more than one, this is what happened:


巧克力香蕉杯子蛋糕:

美美的图案就这样完了...
Oops... the design is all gone



上面的糖霜不会太甜
而巧克力蛋糕也很松软美味
还有小块的香蕉...
好奇的是为什么香蕉都有点耐嚼
the frosting is not too sweet and the chocolate cupcake is pretty good
with some chewy banana in it...
and i wonder why is the banana chewy...





意式浓缩咖啡杯子蛋糕:
用巧克力装饰
咖啡口味的蛋糕...
Expresso Cupcake:
with chocolate chips topping
the cake is coffee flavoured...





奧利奧曲奇餅杯子蛋糕在个别包装的圆盒里:
The Oreo Cupcake in individual round plastic box:



蛋糕上面都是击碎了的奧利奧曲奇餅很容易碎
蛋糕虽然有点干可是味道还算不错
如果蛋糕能更潮湿一点应该会更好
The topping is crushed oreo cookies which is a little flaky
and the cake is dry but still acceptable...
would have like it better if the cake is more moist

超过一个星期前一位很要好的朋友问:
那里可以找到漂亮又好吃的杯子蛋糕...
而且价钱也很公道的!
我想起了之前在 A Whiff of Lemongrass 看过的帖子 ~
Slightly more than a week ago a friend of mine asked where to get pretty and delicious cupcakes... with reasonable prices!
and i remembered the post i read at A Whiff of Lemongrass ~



一个星期前定了 75 个杯子蛋糕和一只大瓢虫 ~
a week ago 75 cupcakes and a giant ladybird is being ordered ~



在盒子里的蛋糕:
这大瓢虫占了九个杯子蛋糕的位置...
又圆又大 ~ 很可爱
This is how they look like in the boxes:
the ladybird took up the space of 9 cupcakes...
it is very round and big ~ so adorable




一盒 有 25 个杯子蛋糕:
两种不同的花卉糖霜和小小的瓢虫
and a box of 25 pretty cupcakes:
two different types of flower frosting and of course more ladybirds

同一种花有两种看似一样可是不同比率的颜色:
这个紫色比较多...
This flower comes in two similar and yet different shade:
the one with more purple...



而这个的粉红色比较多...
and the one with more pink...





还有巧克力口味的杯子蛋糕:
of course there are some chocolate cupcakes too for the chocolate lovers:





这帖子过期了的主要原因:
刚刚才收到的瓢虫剖面照...
最上面的是咖啡, 然后是巧克力和香草海绵蛋糕 ~
间隔的是巧克力糖霜和装饰杯子蛋糕的彩色糖霜...
The reason why this post is being delayed:
i just received the cross-section pic of the ladybird...
Coffee sponge on top, followed by chocolate sponge and vanila sponge ~
They are also layered with chocolate frosting and the same colourful frosting used to decorate the cupcakes...





根据朋友所说的
小朋友们都很喜欢那超大又可爱的瓢虫...
杯子蛋糕嘛... 很好吃哦
也不会太甜 ~
According to my friend the kids are very excited about the giant ladybird...
and the cupcakes... they are delicious of course
not overly sweet too ~

在 Mimi 那儿看到漂亮的杯子蛋糕
向她问清楚了地点就找时间去买...

这家位于 Damansara Uptown 的店也不难找
和 Telekom 同一排, 也就是渣打银行后面, 面向着住宅区的那一排店铺
在那单程路上行走时注意一个黑色的遮阳棚上面印了一个白色超大的杯子蛋糕地就是了
This shop is located in Uptown area
same row as Telekom, or behind Standard Chartered Bank, which is also facing the houses
travelling along that one way street just look out for a black canopy with a white giant cupcake design on top...

我看到这迷你杯子蛋糕:
直径大概是 2cm
一盒里有 49个要 RM50
很可爱适合生日, 聚会或是送礼...
i saw these on display:
mini cupcakes approx 2cm in diameter
a box of 49 for RM50
good for birthdays, parties, or gift

上面贴的招牌也很漂亮可爱...

the sticker on top is so sweet and pretty...

这杯子蛋糕直径大概是 4cm
酱的价钱觉得份量蛮小的...

the cupcakes are approx 4cm in diameter
which is quite small for the price...





Maxi 系列的杯子蛋糕...
蜜蜂造型的 (RM3.80):
漂亮的糖霜和很普通的蛋糕
From the Maxi Cuppacakes range...
Honey Bee (RM3.80):
just a normal cupcake with decorative frosting





薄菏与巧克力粒 (RM3.80):
只有那薄薄一层绿色的是薄菏口吻
吃的时候口里有些冰凉
可惜的是没找到巧克力粒粒...
Mint and Chocolate Chip (RM3.80):
only the thin green layer is mint flavour which gives a cooling feel in the mouth when eating this
unfortunately no choc chip is found in the cupcake...





草莓口味的 (RM3.80):
我在柜台看到的时候明明是有颗小红心在上面的
可是买回来后却找不到...
还是很普通的蛋糕铺上草莓口味的糖霜
Strawberry (RM3.80):
when i saw this in the display counter there is tiny red heart on top of the frosting
but when i got home i cant find the tiny heart any where...
again a very simple cupcake with strawberry flavour frosting





皇家巧克力 (RM4.50):
皇家系列的杯子蛋糕...
巧克力蛋糕和巧克力糖霜
不会太甜... 很浓的巧克力味道
体积却是比 我上一次吃的 小一半
Royal Chocolate (RM4.50):
from the royal cuppacakes range...
Chocolate frosting on Chocolate cupcake
not too sweet... and full of chocolate flavour
this is abt half the size of what i had earlier




整体来说蛋糕蛮松软的
糖霜是糖做的理所当然是甜的
全部的造型都很精致漂亮
因为都很小所以觉得贵了点
Generally the cupcakes are soft
the frosting being the frosting which is supposed to be sweet is sweet
all of them are very pretty looking and expensive... as the cupcake is really small
