Heartfelt Creations December 2014 Alumni Blog Hop

Hello! I am so pleased that you stopped by today for the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop. When I think back over the year I realize that I  have so many things to be thankful for and one of them is you! How appropriate to make you a Thank You card.  I used  stamps, paper and die from the  Classic Sunflower Collection.

All images were stamped with  Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink. All images were colored with Ranger Distress Inks and a water color brush. Color ready seam binding was dyed with Ranger Distress Inks and a bow was made using Craft-Dee BowZ.

Other: card stock - blue and white, sequins, blue, green and black ink, tape

Directions: Cut 5" x 5" piece of paper from Sweet Lullaby Collection. Cut  the Oval Birds card front from Sweet Lullaby Paper Collection. Stamp the sentiment in the oval above the birds. Cut an oval frame from dies and sponge ink on edges. Cut flowers and leaves from blue card stock and Sweet Lullaby Collection with dies. Sponge green ink on the leaves . Layer card as shown and attached flowers, leaves and sequins.

We have had a very long, cold and snowy winter . While I was making this card I could almost smell the scent of the flowers and  feel the warmth of the sun.

January 2014 Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop

I am happy that it is the last Tuesday in January for several reasons, one it is time for the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop, two we are closer to spring and three I am in the beautiful state of Wyoming working this week. I am taking a break from the sub zero ArticVortex temperatures we have been experiencing in Michigan for some normal winter temperatures in the teens and twenties.

The hop starts on  at 8:00AM  Tuesday January 28, 2014 and closes at  Midnight Friday January 31, 2014.
