I am going to share a bit of a different project here today using a lot of different products. I had a stamp set from Whiff of Joy that really made me think of Project Life and then there was that 3x4 heart pocked page die that just spoke to me. So what I decided to do for this Whiff of Joy post was to make my own project life cards using these products. I really wanted to show a different way to use the stamps and dies and how versatile they really are.
I made it pretty simple by just stamping the images in black ink on white paper and then trimming the papers to 3x4. I then added some more embellishments by using washi tape, enamel dots and so on.
I really like the way the cards turned out and of course I had to make a project life spread using my new cards. I ended up making three pages for April 2013 (yes I am still really behind on the whole thing). So here is the final spread that I made.

Catching up on PJ
-----------------
Last year I started doing Project Life so I could document my life in a more fast and simple way. The whole scrapbooking thing really overwhelmed me and I could never seem to finish a page. So Project Life is really more my style. I will still make the occasional scrapbook page and have that as an insert in my album, but I do not feel the need to do a lot of pages anymore.
Usually the whole idea is to make a spread for each week of the year, but our life isn't very eventful and we don't have any children so unless I want to document what I eat everyday and have the same "I sat by the computer"-image for each week I need to do some changes. So what I decided to do was to make about a spread or two for each month. We take photos of the things we feel like we want to document and then I print them all and if it ends up being two spreads or four doesn't really matter. My albums will be very thin and a bit boring at times, but I don't really care.
I am still way behind on this whole thing though and I am just about finished with February 2013. I am trying my best to catch up now and I'll hopefully be able to make a month everyday until I am caught up.
Here's a photo of my work in progress. This month ended up having two spreads and I was exclusively using the Becky Higgin's Kraft Core Kit.
