Robyn's Fetish - Wacky Wednesday

I am excited to present my first creation as DT member for Robyn’s Fetish. It is Wacky Wednesday and on Wednesdays a freebie digi image is given out to use to your hearts content.

Here is this week's cute freebie - Me and My Bear!

Here is the card I created with the image, inspired by my daughter, who carries around her stuffed Curious George everywhere. :)

The design of the card is taken from a sketch from Mojo Monday:

The cardstock is from Bazzil. The pink with white hearts designer paper is from American Crafts. The multi-colored hearts designer paper and sentiment are from K and Company. The ribbon is from May Arts.

The image was cut using my Nestabilities petitie oval and petitie oval scallop die-cuts. I colored the image with the following Copic colors:

E33, E35, E37, RV32, RV34, E00 and the colorless blender. I also added in some sparkle, using my At You Spica red pen for the girl's hearts on her dress. I used my Sakura glitter pen to decorate the oval scallop surrounding the image.

To get the Me and My Bear image, go to the challenge blog to pick up the image.

Red and White

This week’s Copic Buzz challenge is to create something with red and pink. Great colors for celebrating a special day in February - Valentine's Day!

Below is my entry:

Tilda was cut out with my Nestabilities petitie and scallop oval die-cuts. Tilda was colored with the following Copic colors:

RV32, Rv34, E35, E37, R59, R85, E00, W1 (shadowing Tilda), and the colorless blender. I also used my At You Spica pink pen for some glitter on Tilda's wings and outfit. I also used my Sakura glitter pen for parts of her dress.

The red and pink cardstock is from Bazzil. The designer paper is from American Crafts. I used Martha Stewart's scallop punch for the red decoration. I pop-dotted the heart trees (so cute!). I used some dew drops from The Robin's Nest to accent the card The ribbon is from May Arts.

A "Sketchy" Creation To Choose From

This week’s Penny Black Saturday Challenge is to choose between two sketches DT member Nat created. Or you can do both if you feel like more of a challenge. If only there were more hours in the day, I would do both, but I ended up doing only one. Below are the two sketches to choose from:

Sketch #1

Sketch #2

I chose to do Sketch #2. Below is my entry:

The cardstock is from Bazzil. The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye Penny Lane Collection. The image, sentiment and mice feet are from the PB Micey Day collection, that I won from Guest Designer Debby from PB Saturday Challenge's Christmas Blog Hop. Thank you again Debby! The image was colored with the following Copic colors:

E33, Y17, R59, RV32 and the colorless blender.

The image was cut using my Nestie small circle and circle scallop die cuts. The sentiment was also cut with my Nestie small petite oval and oval scallop. I also sponged on some Versa Color sand beige ink on the image and sentiment. I used my Sakura glitter pen to add some glitter to the image.

I also added in some dew drops from The Robin's Nest.

Thanks for stopping by!

Copic Happy!

This week I am participating in two challenges involving the Copic Markers, my favorite coloring tools! Both challenges were fun to do and the card I did was a quickie. :)

1) Copic Colour Challenge #46 - Below are the colors to use:

2) Copic Buzz - Use ribbon in the entry. Also, a really cute digi image from Cute Daisy Mae Digi Stamps was available to use for free if you wanted to, which I did. Below is my entry, using the free digi stamp from Cute Daisy Mae Digi Stamps:

The cardstock is from Bazzil. The designer paper is from a company called Personal Sentiments. I colored the image using the following Copic colors:

G00, RV32, B29, E21, E57, C5 and the colorless blender. I also used my At You Spica pen blossom and my Sakura glitter pen.

The flower gemstone is from Kaiser Scrapbook. The woven ribbon, blue ribbon and blue pearls are from my personal stash.

Happy New Year!

This week’s Penny Black Saturday Challenge is to make something in celebration of the New Year! Because I have been recovering from a cold, I threw a card together last night for this challenge. Below is my entry:

Brown and yellow (Hollywood) cardstock is from Bazzil. I forgot who made the designer paper - got it in December for Christmas projects. I distressed the paper using Versa Color bark ink.

The PB image is from their Bubbly collection, which I noticed a lot of the DT members used a couple of images from that collection - so cute! I colored the image with the following Copic colors:

C5, E33, RV32, Y17, BV23 and the colorless blender

The sentiment is from Hero Arts's All Occasion stamp set.

I also sponged on some ink in the background with Versa Color sand beige. The image was cut out with my Nestie petitie small scallop oval die-cuts.

I used my Martha Stewart scallop punch for the yellow cardstock. The brown woven ribbon is from May Arts.

Prince "Charming"

Started off the New Year with a bad cold from my poor daughter. We are both recovering slowly, but unfortunately got me in the "flu blues." I was able to complete my entry for two challenges:

1) La-La Land Crafts Challenge #19 - "How Charming" - Use charms in the entry

2) Copic Colour Challenge #45 - Below are the colors to use:

Below is my entry:

I LOVE the new Hero Arts stamps! I thought this one that I used for my entry was appropriate.

The cute frog, castle, "charming" prince and sentiment are from Hero Arts Prince Charming stamp set. I used the following Copic colors for the frog, castle and the prince:

YG03, BV04 (in place of CCC color BV02), C3, C5, E39, E00, E33, YR23 and the colorless blender. I also used my At You Spica gold pen for the crowns and the clear pen for the prince's shoulder pads.

The castle was dabbed with some Versa Color sky blue ink. I also used Versa Color Bark to distress the edges of the designer paper. I used my Marvy Uchida corner puncher to punch the corners.

The yellow cardstock is from Bazzil. The brown cardstock is from Wassau. The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye. The gold eyelets are from Making Memories. The gold crown charm the prince is holding is from my stash.
