Yeshiva College, the undergraduate men's college of Yeshiva University, is seeking a Director of its Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Honors Program. Honors is one of Yeshiva College's flagship programs, bringing innovative teaching and research experiences to a set of talented students. The College seeks a director who combines intellectual creativity and vision with the administrative and teaching skills to sustain a vital, coherent program in collaboration with the College faculty, administration and student body. The Honors Director will be a tenured member of one of Yeshiva College's academic departments and will serve as director for renewable three-year terms. The successful candidate for this position will hold a doctoral degree; and will have a strong scholarly record, a demonstrated commitment to teaching, and administrative experience. Salary is competitive. The screening process will begin in January 2009 and applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled.
