Teal Franken

Today I have a teal franken that I made a while ago. I made this one using NYC Kisses, Wet n Wild Black Creme and an LA Colors Color Craze blue that I had lying around. The sparkles come from NYC Kisses, and I'm in love with them! Everything was under a dollar, too: I bought the LA Colors polish at the dollar store, and bought the NYC polish in a two pack at the dollar store as well. Wet n Wild Wild Shines are already 99 cents to begin with, and Rite Aid had a deal a while ago to get two for 99 cents, so I stocked up! Cheap frankening is my favorite by far.

Here's a bottle shot. You can see the shimmer really well in this one.

Thanks for stopping by!

Franken: Salazar's Locket

Top of the mornin' to ya! This is a franken I made a couple nights ago called Salazar's Locket. I used three different shades of green glitter to achieve this. I swear it didn't look this lumpy in person, darn my silly ring finger! This was three (I think? Or maybe two) coats over Wet n Wild Black Creme.

Here it is matted with Essie Matte About You.
Thanks for looking!

Another Franken!

I'm becoming increasingly obsessed with making frankens! This one I made a couple weeks ago but never got around to wearing. I'm thinking of selling some full-sized ones, but I'm not sure if anyone would actually buy them :( This was two coats of it. I probably wont be posting much because I have to study for a final I have on Monday- just a heads up. Hope you like this!

Franken and Clarins 230

Hi everyone! Do you know what a franken is? For those of you who don't, it's a polish that you mix yourself out of other nail polishes to make new colors. It's really addictive, so if you start doing it make sure you know what you're in for! I made this franken a couple days ago. I thought the polish going into the bottle looked really cool.

Here's the completed franken. Usually I can come up with good names for polishes I mix myself (I named a recent franken Too Lazy To Pee) but I couldn't really come up with one for this one that I liked :( Naming my frankens is usually my favorite part, too!

Then I added Clarins 230 on top. I made the franken just to wear with this polish!

Mmm look at the green sparkle!

Thanks for looking!

Angel Dusting - Franken

Hey guys! Second time updating today! This is one of the most recent frankens I made. If you don't know what a franken is, it's different polishes poured together to make one shade. You can also add glitter and pigments to a franken - anything to make it look better! I've made a couple but I like this one the best so far. I named it "Angel Dusting" (Not Angel Dust!), which is a marketing term used for putting miniscule amounts of an ingredient into a product and claiming it will help the user (blah, blah, blah - I know!).

Here are some swatches. It's more holo in real life, but I still like it a lot!

Here it is with OPI DS Shimmer over it:
